| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 7:43:06 AM | It's a personal choice. For myself I don't like them.
AND what is with all the women getting the same or a variety of the same tattoos on their lower back for? Can't people be original. They all have the same hair cut, clothes, tattoos. It's like walking through a cookie factory.

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 7:47:19 AM | ^^SO TRUE!
I am not a fan of tattoos. I can handle them on men, but I'd never get one myself. I do like the scrolls on the lower back, but again, they aren't original.
I'd much prefer to keep my skin free of tatts. Many of my friends have them, but I'll stick to my belly piercing.

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 8:00:10 AM | | for me personally a tattoo repersents a moment or experience in time that i want saved forever to carry it with me. I think that people who are serious about the tattoo they get usually have taken the time to think it over...some of the reasons and stories that come about from the tattoos people have gotten are really interesting. i do agree that the "placing" of the ink has become common. lower back , neck, ankel, so on. | |

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 8:02:06 AM | I hate'em.
I hate to see human skin used to doodle on. To me, they're as ugly as tumors.
Nothing against those who wear them. They're in style and I know many wonderful people who wear tattoos.... I LOVE some people who have tattoos. My DAD had a tattoo... he always regretted it.
It's just the things themselves. I try not to look at them.

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 9:03:36 AM | I don't care for them on women. I don't think that their bodies require such adornments. Some are actually a major turn off.
I woke up with this biker chic....and I didn't even realize she had one. She came to my house later and we got nekked again....one whole tit was a tattoo! I just started laughing. I was too loaded the night before to even notice it!
A small one on her as.s that said "brawny" inside of a heart would be nice though.

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 9:16:04 AM | | I'm big fan of natural skin...the more the better. Tattoos used to be a symbol of rebellion, but today it seems everyone has one. Its more rebellious NOT to get a tattoo. That said, I did date a girl who had "electric blue" Chinese symbols down her spine. That was actually pretty hot. As far as a turn on/off, I'd rather see a woman with a well kept, in shape body and soft, beautiful skin...but I wouldn't complain either way. To each their own. | |

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 9:22:03 AM | Tattoos on women...hmm.....small...and tasteful......and something meaningful....I dont have any tattoos personally...but to each his own.....cant say I would NEVER get one...have actually considered it a couple of times...I live life to the fullest....but I always make sure to remember TWO things....
1. I stay true to myself...never doing anything just because someone else did or wants me to...never doing anything I will regret later (so far I have kept to this motto)..lol
2. When I consider doing something as permanent as a tattoo ..I ask myself ..will I regret this when I am 80?...hehe....
one more thing...ladies...I am a Labor and Delivery nurse....fyi.....tattoos...look sooo different stretched out to 9 mths...LMAO....so be careful where you put them.....if you are still fertile..LOL....
funny little story.....EAT ME....on the inside of each thigh......keeps me laughing to this day...poor girl...she was so embarrassed....hehe..TTFN

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 4:15:16 PM | | a woman with a tattoo is definatly one for me. it's a huge turn on for me. I have 10 myself, and i just dont see myself being with someone who did not have one or at least like them. to me, a tattoo totaly sexifies a woman. | |

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 4:54:01 PM | As long as they were fairly tasteful I wouldn't bat an eyelash. I'm not sure I'd recommend them to anyone, but it doesn't really matter either way.
Some can be cute admittedly ;)

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 5:32:56 PM | Depends on their reason for getting it, I suppose. If she got it just to piss off her parents, it's a turn off. If she got it for some past boyfriend, it's a turn off. If she got it just because her friends were getting them, it's a turn off. Being a non-conformist is an art.. and not everyone is using the right brush. ;)
But if she has a reason that is meaningful to her, and it's not some huge ugly mass of nonsense color slapped on, sure it can be sexy.

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 6:01:22 PM | i have 3 small tattoos at the moment, each one is different and have very personal meanings to me, both the artwork and the placement.....i don't have one on my lower back yet but have been considering that for the next one as i need a decent amount of space to put it (and it will be an original piece of art not a typical one)...then someone said to me "oh you mean a california license plate" or something to that effect because it's sooo common to have a lower back tat...i was quite deflated to hear this term, it was like a put down...so now it has me second guessing what i'm going to do....hmmm what was my point again? guess i'm just kinda bummed that there's no originality anymore and i may be seen as just one more of those chicks with the lower back tat even if it is different than all the rest :(
oh ya, OT: tat's are cool and can be quite sexy both on women and men when tastefully done...

| Tattoos on women turn on or turn off? just curious Posted: 6/29/2005 6:28:08 PM | | I used to hate them on women. My 2nd to last gal had five tattoos, and I wasn't crazy about them since they weren't tied together with any theme or rationale. But it opened my mind about how I viewed them on women. My last gal had a huge menacing python twisting its way around her upper left breast to shoulder to upper back. That was hot. So now, for me,it all depends on the art, positioning, meaning it has for her. | |
