| | April 5th Meet & Greet at O'Sully's - The Morning AfterPage 1 of 1 | What a party! Once again, a very special thanks to all who attended and to the wonderful volunteers without whom events like this would not be possible.
A couple of things: One, there is a very nice ladies' black sweater that is looking for its owner. If you're missing it, please contact O'Sullivan's at 403-253-5886. They are taking good care of it until you can pick it up.
Two: One gentleman forgot to clear his tab before leaving and our server (Melissa) had to cover it out of pocket. She was able to identify the gentleman's pic and would appreciate it if he could contact her at O'Sullivan's to settle the bill. Thanks in advance for taking care of this immediately so as not to sully POF's rep with the venue......
All tolled, we had roughly 93 fish and their friends who came swimming tonight, half of whom were attending an event for the very first time. There was a great deal of laughter, a lot of bright smiles and, yes, Stella A survived! He did not escape unmolested mind you, but he did leave unharmed. We'll have Ason's pics to prove it posted in the next couple of days, along with AG 1_2 dressed 'normal' (he really was!) and a few other photos that will hopefully bring back some happy memories.

Posted: 4/6/2009 4:48:15 AM | Well, I for one, who has attended several of these Meet and Greets, have to say that the friendliness of the mass is worth the effort of attending! Some may feel intimidated with the onslaught of hostesses coming at them at the end of the aisle on the way to the lower level, but once that shock is passed, there are some contacts to be made, and last night was a full range of ages from the early 20s to the late 60s.

It's even better trying to drag some of the O'Sullivan's regulars into the lower fish bowl, but they always seem scare..... I guess they're not used to that many smiles.
