Tight? Baggy? Relaxed fit?
Light blue? Dark blue? Black? White?
Faded? Torn? A vintage kind of look? Or looking like new?
Low rise jeans? Boot cut? Straight cut?
Stonewashed?
Does it depend on the shape of the guy wearing them? (in my case, I'm 6'4" & 207lbs, my legs are perhaps on the slim side of average)
Does it depend on the rest of what he's wearing? (in my case, I usually wear a sporty leather jacket)
And what kind of footwear do you like to go with them - cowboy boots? Dress shoes? Runners?

Jeans can look so different depending on what cut they are, which brand, what type of body build the guy has. It really depends on his individual build. | |

No white, no stonewashed. Nothing that screams 80's.
Some men can't pull of jeans. Know who you are and dress accordingly. To the others, jeans that fit your style and body type, regardless of what brand they are.
Tennis shoes and cowboy boots (if you are into that style) are all right.
Cowboy boots? cowboy boots? Really?
Not my thing but there are some ladies that absolutely fall over for a guy in Wranglers and cowboy boots... | |

I like a not too tight, not too loose fit. I don't like the hanging off your ass look...i see enough of that at work.

The same goes for shoes. I don't care for the most part. The only shoes I don't like on a man are those pointy toed black leather business shoes. Those pointy toes..ick.

I hate the extremes of jeans though- the skinny jeans and the jeans around the ankles. | |

Posted: 4/19/2009 10:25:20 PM | Here's yet another opinion. I like well fitted jeans (dark blue or faded) accented with a white button down shirt, but you can choose other colors. Most men look decent in this even if their build isn't the best.
As for cowboy boots? Laugh all you want, but I've had those "cowboy" pin ups turn up in my email that we send each other. The boots just can't be brand new and the guy has to be comfortable in them.
You can wear Runners as long as they aren't too new looking or beat up. | |
