| If you left Ireland where would you go Posted: 4/23/2009 4:14:58 PM | | If you would leave Ireland where would you go? I myself would like to live in Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Realisticly I would probably have to go to Sweden or some other EU countries since proper work permits seem to be difficult to get in oz, nz and canada. | |

| If you left Ireland where would you go Posted: 4/24/2009 2:55:11 AM | | For me, it'd have to be Canada, I've been there many times and I love it, Montreal would probably be the place for me, great weather in summer, great snow in winter, but like you said, work permits would be the problem. If Canada was a non runner, i'd say Germany or the Netherlands. | |

Of couse that's if I could make as much money there as here. It does not matter where you live it matters more that you are making above average and you feel relatively better off. The physical locaion is just incidental.

Not too sure I'd be into the Japanese work culture though. Canad's got he great outdoors, supposed to be a great place to live. Hope it does'n end up in the North American Union though! That'd be bad shit! Look it up, educate yourselves!!!

There or Berlin. Different reasons, but it supposed to be great.

For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

| If you left Ireland where would you go Posted: 10/30/2009 6:28:04 AM | We'd love to have you ~ but don't come to Texas !
It's hotter then hell for 4 months out of the year ~ and everyone is here already!
We have Irish communities that were settled long ago by the Irish
like Glen Rose ! Might have heard of it ~ it's one of the few places in the world where dinosaur tracks still exist. They are in abundance there. ~ like huge turkey tracks! Glen Rose is located on what once was a shoreline of a prehistoric sea but today, now some 350 miles inland.
We enjoy it's rough and natural beauty, ~ lots of bluegrass picking and singing and yearly bike races. Lots of limestone and hardrock river bottom, four rivers met there. Lots of hollows and rocks and rattle snakes.
By all means ~ come and see and bring your Irish!

Wherever you go try to avoid places where you will meet too many idiots suffering from the God Delusion or lots of people who culturally have split personalities....like Oirish Americans for example!
