COOMBS COUNTRY CAMPGROUND, Coombs B.C.

Calling all of you REDNECKS and RNwannabes................
I checked out local campgrounds and the Coombs Country Campground said they will be thrilled to have us,... ALL OF US!! YEP, quiet fires and all ( poor suckers) on the May 22-24th weekend.
sign up early,... they'll charge you when you get there and register with the main office, BUT I MUST know how many are coming DEFINITELY by May 15th to keep the reservations

I booked sites 80 thru 87 ...EXCEPT #86 :(,... I will be in site #85 for those needing to talk to me.
Plusses of CCCG... ~ swimming pool AND HOT TUB!!!!!!!
~close enough to Coombs Market etc. to walk and the Creekmore Coffee House for those espresso and chai latte addicts.
~Little Qualicum Falls is a great hike 5 minute drive away and Cameron Lake and Cathedral Grove a tad further along.
All the sites in the group section have power (yea) ... there are actually only 7 sites available but the owner assured me that 2-3 RV's per site fit quite nicely (depending upon size) and they don't care how many people we squeeze in there as they charge per party not site ~ 2 per party ( that is tent, RV, camper, etc) Cost is $27 for RV's, trailers etc. and $23 for tents and $3 each extra person. Bring an extra extension cord. I did tell them we had 50 plus at our last event!
I did a drive through to refresh my memory and it's a great spot for us I think,... lotsa room for bocci balls etc. and there are also paddle boats on the lake ( which we are right beside) Fishing too!
ON SATURDAY we'll have a potluck supper,... BYOM ( meat) and a side dish or dessert of your choice to share... Don't forget your cutlery!
DAYTRIPPERS are more than welcome!!!!!!
We are also planning a REDNECK SCAVENGER HUNT,... all you need to bring is a digital camera ( and cord if needed to upload ) LFO will bring her laptop.
Aside note,... lots of things to entertain kidlets so if anyone wants to bring theirs go ahead,... I can't ditch mine again this time they are onto me HAHAHA.

this looks like a good one and I will probably be there a couple of days earlier for anyone who wants to come sooner as I have the whole week prior off... I will be in site #82.
I shall also have two extra beds ( can sleep 4 if you share) for those needing a place off the ground to crash and I also have a 7 person tent... first dibs... first served!! Same rules apply for the RV,... NO SNORERS! | |

I'll be in my trusty tent too but hopeful there will be power available....to keep the heater on, the patio lanterns aglow and the beverage fridge cold!  Tent or not, gotta have at least a few creature comforts right?
So Eric, you gonna bring actual camp gear this time or recline again? 
I hope it is warmer this time out....I might now have the reputation of 'the Popsicle girl' but plan on bringing warmer clothes & blankies, this time brrrrrr:

Okay, I wasnt' there so can only wonder what happened, but need to chime in... as of their defeat tonight the Flames are going golfing.

recline? hahahha MR. BIG AND TALL got his foot taken off the brake in his puny car and ended up sleeping in the top bunk of the RV.. 7' bed instead....... talk about the lap of luxury ,... AND HE SNORES LOL. | |
