Posted: 4/28/2009 9:43:17 AM | Those guys were excellent! Too bad they always seemed to be overlooked. Jax Airport died in 2004 but they did a reunion concert only last year. I thought there was gonna be a cd/dvd of the show.

Posted: 4/28/2009 2:14:37 PM | A totally unique group dripping with vital energy. Styrene had such a loud and primal voice. I was shocked to learn from somewhere (don't know how factual it is, haha) that she was trained to sing opera.
Lyrically the music on Germ Free Adolescents resonates with me, and the music feels a lot more alive than the majority of popular acts across the country nowadays. | |
