| Ruby Butterfly
Posted: 4/29/2009 9:44:14 PM | I once had a beautiful butterfly that I loved so dear,
but I had to let her go, so she is no longer here.
I loved her for many of my years,
and now I can only remember her in my tears.
I know I had to let her go by opening the jar,
I remember how I felt when I watch her fly off far.
I watch as she spread her beautiful wings and seen how she glowed,
It was hurting me so badly that it felt like my heart was going to explode.
Explode with joy of happiness for her looking so free,
But at the same time feeling the sadness that I could not keep her with me.
How ever, I was thinking it was the best thing I could do,
As I stood there waving at her saying "I will miss you".
It was one of the hardest things I have ever done,
Standing there watching her fly tors the sun.
Looking so happy, so peaceful and so free,
Then she lands on a near by tree.
She sat there for a moment or so,
Looked as she was looking back me and saying, "Thank you for letting me go".
And I stood there looking in aw, remembering an old saying though.
"If you love something, let it go and if it comes back, then it was meant to be"
As I fell to my knees and saying to her, please forgive me.
She flew over and landed on my hand,
And with the look on her little face, you can see that she was trying to say,
"I understand".
For a brief moment in time, I felt her soft touch,
I never realized that you can love something so much.
Well it's been a long time that she had flown away,
But I can still remember how it was till this day.
I still have love for her with in my heart,
And I know it will be hard to get used to us being apart.
I prey that she is still flying so free,
And maybe this is the way it was supposed to be.
I'll never forget her, no matter how hard I'll try,
"Good by my ruby butterfly"

If she was truly a Butterfly to you...Butterflies are meant to be
watched as they so beautfully travel ....... A Butterfly is not meant
to be Held or Touched. It is to be Admired from a Distance, ..Always.

I have had plenty of them fly and land on me and I happen to love them very much. Anything from the tiger swallowtail to the comen moth. So let plz stick with the writing aspect of the post.

So how is it working for you, because one can only assume that you where told to post here because more females would read it and thus increase your chances of picking someone up?

pray - To utter or address a prayer or prayers to God, a god, or another object of worship.
I would say Freudian slip there. | |

Would it increase my chances of picking someone up? Well not yet....lol
