These two teams have by far the most depth of any other playoff teams, this should be the NBA finals. When the Rockets beat Clevland it wasnt even close. Im a nuggets fan, we are gonna beat dallas in 5, then we get teh lakers and lose in 6..
Lakers have too much offense for anybody, plain and simple...too many weapons
They played Utah half intrested and still won in 5....

Posted: 5/2/2009 10:13:21 PM | I'm actually a huge Lakers fan, (Lakers and USC football) and think they should blow through everyone, but they have a few places where they can be weak, or strong... just not consistent. Bynum is one, the bench is two, and closing out games is three.
Gasol and Ariza need to play good... as does Shannon Brown off the bench. Kobe and Lamar will play consistent.
Bynum on Yao, is the key of a 4-5 or 6 game series. If the bench clicks and they can close out... it's done in 4. If they play Houston like they did Utah, it will take 6.
Nuggets over Dallas in 6
Lakers vs Denver will be a fun match-up, but not as fun as the finals, LA over Cleveland in 7 (maybe 6) | |

It was only a so/so game... Lakers need to get fired up. They just don't seem to be playing with intensity.
Great comeback by Boston, made the ending of that game good. Same thing with Ray Allen, he just seemed like he couldn't find the basket either. | |

Posted: 5/5/2009 2:55:16 PM | All i can say rick adleman is a very underrated coach. He took Rockets to the playoffs last year without Yao Ming, Artest or Mcgrady. This year, he did that with Artest, Yaog Ming and still without Tracy Mcgrady.
No one is a fake fan here. Whenever I play NBA2k9 in xbox, I either pick New York Knicks or Houston Rockets or some times mavericks or jazz.

Kobe's still gonna get his points, but the Rockets make him shoot and dont let him go to the basket, so he cant dish the ball. Aaron Brooks is to much for Fisher. The one weakness I see, is Von Waffier is getting shut down by that Bushchev guy, or however you spell it. Rockets took home court and thats all they needed. Posted: 5/6/2009 4:19:23 PM | You're right, the Rockets looked good and are tough. But it wasn't only Kobe, most everyone on the Lakers were cold, and couldn't hit anything... They missed more open shots than I have ever seen. It will be different.
And Lakers can win in Houston, they already have twice this year. Lakers did look bad, I can't see them looking that bad twice in a series.
Fish has his hands full chasing Brooks around and the Rockets are playing tough no doubt. It makes for a great series.
I hope Yao has recovered 100%, His knee could have gotten soar and stiffened up. | |
