| Trying to find the right balance
Posted: 5/3/2009 11:48:50 AM | A few things that might help. Unlike yourself, looks aren't my strong point, so I have to make up for it in other ways so here's what I've had to learn the hard way.
BE BOLD AND ORIGINAL.
My original starting line was "Just got out of prison and looking for action". Obviously that wasn't the case, but it was a real eye grabber and took a few lines of reading for someone to realize it was a joke, at which point the hook was set.
Don't tell anyone you're shy. Be brave and get rid of that shyness through and through. Women like men who are confident. If you aren't feeling confident, fake it. Fake it long enough and you won't have to anymore because you will actually become confident.
Get rid of the goofy self portraits. Just keep one of the you smiling. The goofy pictures may be intended to show you aren't too serious, but they may be interpreted as simply immature.
Don't show yourself with pictures of other women. It makes you look like a player. A woman wants you for herself only.
Think about your dream woman and write exactly what you are looking for. Write that from the heart and you can't go wrong.
