i was just curious if there were any people out there that were interested in a leashed dog walk. where are the best spots for an event of this type and perhaps what days of the week might be the most convenient?
im currently getting a new dog and id like to socialize him a bit with other dogs, other than with my mums tongues with feet( boxxers.)
i was thinking it might a nice way to end a week , perhaps a fri or saturday afternoon. early evening ,maybe down by the river alley/below the hotel mcdonald area where there is parking, and maybe walk to the leg grounds and back
anyone interested in putting an event like that together or interested in participating ?

i dont have my chow chow no more, but gettin a lil jack russell female,so my dog wont b humpin any legs lol

I'd be interested in a dogwalk... I love the dog park by the zoo, or any of the trails at the river valley.

I have a small poodle cross puppy I'm also trying to socialize, and I'm a frequent baby sitter of my parent's border collie. We're at the dogparks a lot, but I need to get them more practice on leash.

Any time would work for me really... Satd or Sunday early afternoon or morning especially.

Terwilliger Park is an off-leash dog park. There's pathways all over the place. Nice walk takes about an hour.

There are a lot of dogparks in the city for offleash walking. Leashed walks with dogs are more difficult because they want to run and play and you end up with a tangled mess. I would suggest an offleash park so the dogs can run and if you don't trust your puppy yet (which I don't blame you), you can keep her on a leash to figure out how the doggie world works. It's so important to socialize your pet; otherwise you end up with a beast who just wants to terrorize the other dogs.
