| Is there anyone out there that would date shorter men
Posted: 5/5/2009 10:43:41 AM | I have a really good friend but he is short he is between 5' - 5 '2" he doesn't get to many women who like shorter men beings as they are taller... he is a very nice guy and would like to date more but is finding more women who like taller men...verses the opposite..anyone interested out there??? The question would be what's so bad about dating a guy that is shorter than you?

What is great is my friend is 6'1" and loves to wear 4 inch heels....So, yes, there are girls out there that date shorter guys.
I prefer guys that are taller then me....have no logical reason why that is just how it is.  | |

Posted: 5/6/2009 9:17:09 AM | Well, I'm short also so almost any man is as tall or taller than I am. I'm 5'1"; however, I am a "young" senior citizen so I probably wouldn't fit into your friend's age frame.
There should be a thread, Is there anyone out there who would date "young" senior citizens. | |

Myself I'm only about 5'7" or 8 depending, I have a 6'3" personality though. ;) | |

I see short couples all the time. It is all about being in the right place at the right time and that is usually just to find a date. Dating is hard for just about everyone short or tall. Cheers | |

There are not plenty of women out there for the short guy. A great article titled "Women hypocrites for refusing to date short men" by dating expert Steve Penner is a good exmaple of this. Posted: 5/22/2009 5:35:19 AM | ^^^Okay, first mistake is to believe more than 2 percent of what anyone in the media or TV says.. #2 My folks are short and they have been happily married for 4o years.
#3. My twin brother is short and is happily married to a taller wife.
#4. One of my best friends is short and is happily married...oh and his folks are short too and married... YOU have to find the right woman, not a bunch of women, just the right one. This perceived notion that us short guys can't find a date is silly... IF that is the case then us short folks would have never been born....oh and I have cousin who is also short and he married a doctor.. all it takes is perseverance...Cheers | |

My brother is short but tons of girls love him, and now he has happily married to a girl who is taller than him and makes many times more money than him, she is pretty & attractive, and we whole family get along very well too!
If the tall guy has no attraction and other qulities above, he ends up like a short guy who has no attraction and the other qualities above.....to be an aloner. | |

They took this group of actors, all attractive men, some short, some tall. They gave them fake bios. They had them stand in a police-style line-up where women could view them behind a one-way screen. The women were told their bios: basically the short guys were given GREAT bios, such as, "Gino is a doctor/writer/romantic, etc., whereas John (a tall guy) is unemployed, still lives with his mother, just got out of jail", etc. You get the idea. ALL of the women only wanted to go out with the tall guys--even if they seemed to be losers, or have very little going on. And, believe me, ALL the guys were very handsome. It made me sick. I would never reject someone on a height basis! I realized them that I am an anomaly in the world of women. These women treated the short guys like men would treat obesely overweight women! I would love to date ANYONE cool, regardless of height. Open up your options, ladies. | |
