Have you noticed Jim hasn't showed up to events he signed up for..
wondering where he is?
Well he is missing you all and asked me to inform you.. his friends
that he is in hospital again..
i will let him tell you why...
i am sure he wouldn't mind a visit or two if your up to it..

wrong when you didn't post a brunch but I had read (FB?) that you had just gotten out a few days before.
Unfortunately I was unwell for several weeks myself so I was keeping a low profile.
Yep I too met Spud at my first event and I still try to attend the brunches when I can.
I wish you a speedy recovery - I miss you and so do your brunch friends! | |

Posted: 5/10/2009 1:54:31 PM | Spud asked us to extend his appreciation for all the good wishes from his friends. Unfortunately he
didn't get much sleep as he woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. He had nodded off when we
got there so we didn't stay long. He obviously needed his sleep but was grateful for the visit. I am sure he
would welcome any visits.
Spud says that if there are no further complications with the IV medication he is currently on, the doctor
expects him to be released by the end of the week (approximately one more week). He doesn't like the
food so that's a good sign that he is feeling better (I hope).
He has also been watching the Canucks games too!  | |

Spud and I had first bantered back in forth in the forums back in 2006... There was the 3rd official brunch being held by Big Papa G, which would be our first. He and I were both a little nervous to go but was looking forward to it. I drove out to have coffee with him the night before the brunch...in part so we both had a friendly face that we would know. It was an absolute delight to see that face the next day... and who knew that a few months later he would have started hosting the brunch as he loved it so much! Please be sure and throw a couple grapes his way from Andie Dandie! Chin up my friend... | |
