??? With surprising results meaning that women are now messaging you with the regularity that you want? If they are then I am glad that you are getting the results that you want. With the profile that you have up, I am surprised.

That does not sound like you are kidding to me. It sounds like you are just being crappy.
Unemployed, living in a van down by the river, have to use the pay phone at 7-11 to call my parole officer. I have a locater ankle tracker and have to be back to the Ford by curfew. Its an exciting life, want to join in?
This would actually work if you did not list unemployed as your profession. Then it just sounds bitter.

Apparently, I need to travel more; find more interesting places to take pics, learn to dance, scuba, ski, sky dive, bungee jump, get a few tattoos, meet some celebraties, get a boat, and of course spend more time walking on beaches.
Or of course you could simply put forward a more positive yet honest profile about who you are, instead of b!tching about who you are not having much success with the profile writing process. Just a thought.
Especially seeing how no one on this thread has told you to do any of these things! All that you communicate in your profile is that you are a whiner... but hey according to you it is yielding 'surprising' results so congratulations. I would never have guessed that the 'angry' profile would have worked.

Funny that you say that, as apparently you received some 'brutal honesty' somewhere about your profile and you do not seem to 'appreciate' it either. Who'd a thunk it...

A few suggestions…
1) Humor works, sarcasm s*cks!
2) Your sarcasm doesn’t work plus it’s old hat. Yours is the 4th I’ve seen in the last 3 days that says basically the same stuff as the last 3 sarcastic, clueless jokers.
3) The first time it was sorta funny but crass not class.
4) By the time ya see it the 400th time, it s*cks 4000% more.
5) Nix all the ladies from the photos….she’s wonderin why you aren’t dating them or why they haven’t fixed you up
6) What’s “other relationship”??….sounds kinky and will eliminate a lot of ladies.
7) Valencia City…sounds a bit effeminate…find a more masculine name.
8) The biker thing works if it’s not a mid-life crisis, and never as a primary photo. Too limiting.
9) If you’ve biked all your life, say so….or she’ll think you’re at crisis point
10) Unemployed is honest, but an immediate turn off. What’s your PROFESSION??
11) Single and 41 is a huge RED FLAG…she thinks you never commit. If you have been in love or in a committed relationship, it’s good to mention that.
12) Better photos of JUST YOU….close up, full bod, but nobody else in them.
Work on writing a light and humorous profile. It goes over much better than sarcastic and old sarcasm at that.

Posted: 9/28/2009 3:42:12 PM | I think this level of negativity only works if you are EXTREMELY funny. Most of us don't fall into that category. Try to be more open-minded and explain what it is that you have to offer that others cannot.
Also, keep in mind that the male-to-female ratio is EXTREMELY high. Most women receive a ton of messages. So a ton of rejections is not surprising -- it is the standard. You cannot take them to heart and have to perservere.

my advice is simple, take out yr pics of you with other women. contrary to what Mystery says on his VH1 show, it doesn't up your 'worth' by showing yrself with beautiful women, it might actually be seen as a negative in terms of POF/internetz dating.
Try it for a week, remove those pics... it can't hurt. If you get less responses, then go back with em. | |

Posted: 10/1/2009 4:50:10 PM | I really dont have that many pics of myself, Seems to be the girls I know love to take pics, so guess what, I usually end up in pics with them. And like I said, doing all the things WRONG; of course having other girls in the pics is a no-no, I read it right in profile pointers. I used to have a pic of me shirt less and flexing, but they wont let me post that one anymore. I did get rid of the twenty year old pics, but might just recycle them for the holidays.
Been motorcyclin since I was 5, it never was the midlife crisis for me; that will be a convertible Porsche
Work is what work does, its insurance and healthcare finance, its dull, boring, gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule and pays the bills well
So maybe next on the agenda is a fresh set of head shots ;)

So off to get new head shots, a new id to something less femmy (though it is the factory color of my motorcycle and the CityX would be the model) but you probably only got the reference if you ride, and then again only if you ride Buell.
