Personally, I wouldn't be interested in engaging in this as I've heard horror stories of women and men dying from this practise.

In addition to deaths from this, the surviving partner is usually found guilty of murder and jailed. It's such a dangerous practice that I can't imagine doing it even if I found it pleasurable. I definitely prefer my partners, and myself, alive and breathing. | |

Thanks for the link cause seriously some people need to understand how dangerous this is.
And it's not just with a partner. The leader singer from INXS...he was supposedly found in a closet dead after playing the self-choking game.
OP--you might explain to her that you're not that comfortable with this and as someone else suggested, have her put her head over the side of the bed.
Cause if you oops choke too hard and she dies...don't say people didn't try to warn you!!! | |

1. real choking -- asphyxiation reducing oxygen flow to the brain to the point of unconsciousness -- dangerous
2. dominance choking -- acting as if you are choking her -- the threat and apparent danger add a charge. As you weren't really choking her and she liked it just fine, this sounds more like what she was after. As with most dom-sub play theatricality and imagination are more important than reality.

The person getting choked should know to have somehow signaled that that was her point of not being able to take anymore. Being safe and planned is one thing but not making yourself clear or making sure you have your partners instructions clear is when people are stupid. I personally think all forms of choking are about feeling dominated how light you choke is something you and your partner should talk about if it's what your into. As for me the hands around my neck happens to be a fantasy of mine, maybe some light squeezing but not choking. The loss of oxygen is not what I am looking for.  | |
