Hey there Divine,

Nope -- I googled it and all, nada.

But I remember once painting a vehicle with spray cans -- we has pizza afterwards and the grease from the pizza took all the paint off the hands. Don't lick your fingers though, as that's just wrong.

If nail polish remover doesn't work, I'd try warm oil.

Oh -- or you could call a paint store in town and ask the owner.

Best

If solvents aren't your thing, you might try a pumice stone. Sometimes, the oil in skin prevents the paint from penetrating too deeply and a thorough scrubbing will remove most of the paint. It's time consuming but it has worked for me. Just don't scrub so hard that you make yourself bleed.

it's a holiday today in Canada and everything's closed.

i tried the acetone nail polish remover and it didn't work.

but you'll never guess what did...

the NON-acetone nail polish remover!

who knew??? it came right off easily...

thanks so much, guys - i love that you can ask the Fish just about anything and someone will have an answer for you.

Many things will likely work, many times using a hand cleaner from the auto parts section (ie Canatian Tire in your case) will remove many things, sometimes works well on clothing, but test first. Most spraypaint I've seen isnt water soluable, so mineral spirits, paint thinner, varsol, wd-40, even gasoline, although most people will say not to use it because of the fire risk. Tooth paste is another great cleaner, not sure about spray paint though, never tried it.
