Why are the ladies that are displayed in my inbox suddenly from areas that are far from me. I am near Buffalo NY and I have members being displayed from NYC and even different states. I can find no way to change this.
Ensure your zip code is set correctly and follow the instructions in this link:

It has been this way for as long as I have had this account open and has never been a problem before.
But something may have changed in the way the site picks who to show you on that line. Have you at least tried changing the city to see if it makes any difference? You can always change it back if it doesn't. | |

so why exactly? what relevance is it to me that someone 350 miles away just logged in? if i'm interested in profiles of people in far away places then let ME search for them...

admin just changed this thread title to the above...
Admin didn't change it - I did, so that it's a bit more clear as to the topic, and for Admin to spot it - typically when Admin is making changes on the fly, he may inadvertantly overlook something and hasn't detected it yet.
The sounding board here, will no doubt catch his attention - hence why the thread name change.

The only difference seems to be that I "used" to live in Southern California, now that I've moved 300 miles north, and changed my zip and city to reflect that, I am still getting southern california profiles appearing instead of my new area. That's not very fun. This does seem to be a site issue. I've moved before a c0uple times and have never had this issue. | |

But the opposite....
I keep getting guys from Dallas, Ft Worth, Abilene and Ft Hood....
I don't mind too much since Dallas guys and soldiers are good looking dudes but I WOULD like to see guys from my area again.
Nothing's changed in my settings, so I think POF, I think its you not me....

Posted: 5/30/2009 12:06:04 PM | This problem is also happening to me. Started yesterday. I live in Southern California, and now my inbox members are from northern Cali. This is very frustrating as I am not interested in those members in Northern Cali. No offense to those men, just looking for someone more local.
Please please admin. address this issue.
