Posted: 6/2/2009 8:02:09 AM | hysterical stuff. i like the mind that can launch this kind of wit and humor. it isn't often that a joke gets my eyes watering, and you accomplished this most readily.
you got me with the clapper joke- i'm very visual and pictured the lights flickering (often) and your friend constantly asking, "WTH is wrong with your lights," while you are in the next room ROF in stitches.
Glad you're having a good time with this online stuff, your circus friends, and life in general.

B batteries - typically 45, 90 or 135 Volts - powered the plates (anodes) of vacuum tubes in portable radios, but we abandoned both tubes and B batteries after transistor radios emerged in the mid-1950s. A batteries fell out of general use at the same time.
