Would you respond to a guy's message who appears to have never viewed your profile? I just realized I was in ninja mode - didn't allow wpmen to see that I viewed and I am wonder if that has affected my chances of getting a response from any of them. | |

Posted: 6/4/2009 12:57:16 PM | BTW, I went and took a look at your profile to see if I might find an answer there... no luck other than you might consider posting more and better pics of yourself... maybe engaged in some of the activities you mention? It's well written and you sound like an interesting guy. Also you might take a look at some of the emails you've written and make sure the problem isn't there. Asking questions about her and not focusing too much on yourself when emailing is a good start... referencing her profile too!

Posted: 6/4/2009 2:13:11 PM | I rarely check to see who's viewed me, b/c since I post in the forums often (several times per day ... uhh, make that per hour!) most of the people who've viewed me are from other states or countries.
I'd certainly answer a message from someone who wasn't in my "who's viewed me" list ... I know some on here are in stealth mode, and it doesn't make any difference to me.
Unfortuntaly, OP, I think you just aren't receiving a ton of responses b/c ... well, most men don't. The forums are full of men wondering why they don't get responses, so don't look into it too much. | |

Posted: 6/4/2009 3:22:55 PM | Reading the profile is a must. Altho it isnt a total picture it does give you a few clues. One of them being,, if this person can sucessfully form a sentence lol However it does tell likes dislikes and interests. I think its better if you do show you viewed profiles. It doesnt mean you must write everyone. People looking at who viewed them will at least see your pic. If they are remotely interested they will view yours. Hey write a email you never know. Im guessin the only way you shouldnt read a profile is if you are Helen Keller or Stevie Wonder,,lol Good luck  | |

Oh and incidentally, if someone views me and doesn't write, then I assume they aren't interested.
Just someone viewing a profile, without being in Stealth mode, doesn't mean they are interested. | |

I often find myself accidentally double viewing a profile I've put in my not interested pile because their pic changed and I don't want them getting the wrong idea just cause I viewed their profile more than once. | |

I don't even bother to see if anyone's viewed my profile. So if I get an email, why would I stop and think to myself "Golly gee, I need to make sure he's on the list of who's viewed me so I can make a decision about wether or not I want to chat" | |

If I am interested, I don't really click on "viewed me" to check if the guy whose message I am responding to viewed my profile or not. These are the reasons why I would respond: (1) I find the sender attractive (2) I liked the message (3) I liked what he wrote in his profile.
If you are not getting any responses, I don't think that you being on stealth mode has anything to do with it. Keep in my mind that in your message, you can convey that you've viewed their profile by mentioning something about it. | |
