I thought it would be nice to have a topic for forumites who will be viewing
the new series to make any comments or debate anything of interest that comes up!
Did anyone see last nights launch show and what do you think of the contestants so far?
Its seems the poor souls wont be living a life of luxury and arent even housemates yet!
It goes without saying that my favourite so far is Sophie for 2 obvious reasons 
Who do you like so far or who do you think looks to be the most weird and annoying? | |

Posted: 6/5/2009 2:54:50 AM | Nope, I didn't watch it ... not even read the paper today which will no doubt be full of it .... and once my mate starts blabbing on about it constantly I'll probably feel intrigued to have a look and will then probably get hooked.
I don't really like the first couple of weeks, its always full of people shrieking ... once they get rid of the most annoying ones and there are less people in there shouting and trying to talk over the top of each other it can get pretty good.
The first night is always horrendous though .. without fail them come in the door and shriek and everyone else in the rooms shrieks and then the all jump up and down a lot .. its like watching a 3 yr olds birthday party | |

I can't pick a favourite as yet so am going to go with the geordy fella for now as he's closest to my home town. I'm sick of hearing what is normal, when actually we all know what is normal.
Normal to some may not be normal to society so generally speaking normal is just....normal!
The only people who have a problem with using the term normal is those who aren't and think they should be cos they're conceited and self-centred, and the do-gooders who think they know PC and make out as if they're clever.

i didn't like the american kid at first but warmed to him a bit because he looked totally lost .. he probably can't uderstand a word anyone is saying, brummie, scottish, irish, poshish, russian and midget shriek-speak ....
the totty, both male and female were all instantly unlikeble ..
the lesbian and the geordie gay ... dull
i think the guy who shaved off the girls eyebrows last night may be in the running ... cute, nice accent, bi .. the girls in the house will like him and the guys won't be threatened by him

Not sure I would leave my own primary school age child for such a long time to appear on the show. What if she stays in the show until the end? I wonder who is looking after her kids for (possibly) such a lengthy amount of time? It was made clear she thought she was going to 'improve 'the kids lives by going on the show. But how? No amount of publicity or money would make me miss my kids milestones you can't bring the days back when they are so young and kids grow up far too quickly.  | |

That little short one was shrieky couldn't stop squealing like a pig before she went in she made the world record for getting on my nerves if only there was a real life counterstrike for Big Brother (Booom Headshot :P).
Shes that annoying I don't think she will last long though :)

I read a quote where that hairy mystic meg lookalike guy who must consider himself some type of guru. Declared that all ugly people should be banned from having children, well due to his unkept look I will assume he has never actually looked in a mirror?
I mean come on it is a bunch of wannabees fighting to become famous. And you are right about the single mum she said she hates being labeled as a single parent. Probably why she grabbed at the opportunity. It is just a group of people who absolutely love themselves. | |
