Ok, here is the story....I want everyone to have a great time at my parties and I got worried that the bands on the original date were a little to head banger for our group so I talked to the managers at 8 Seconds and they agreed. So we are moving the party to Saturday. Friday would have definitely been a much rowdier crowd and we could not have gotten our section up next to the stage like before also so it just made better sense to move it. I would encourage anyone who likes those kind of bands to still go out on Friday and check the bands out but it will not be a POF event and I had Markus delete it. Please sign up on this link even if you signed up on the other one so we can now start posting on here. Sorry for the confusion,I really want this to be a fun experience for everyone

LATEST, LATEST PARTY NEWS: 8 SECONDS IS GIVING US A PRIVATE DANCE INSTRUCTOR FOR A SPECIAL CLASS BACK IN THE BACK BAR, TREMORS, AT 8 !!!!!!!! Tremors will be closed to the general public at that time and we will have the whole dance floor and instructor to ourselves!!!!! We should get about an hour of dance lessons before they will need to close it down that part down to accomadate for their normal Saturday patrons at Tremors, but an HOUR of private lessons!!!!! How cool is that!!!! Also in case you didn't see it already they will have an area for us for un-line dancing on the main dance floor. So no excuse not to shake your booty !!!! I know the girls at the sign up table will be shaking ours!

LATEST PARTY NEWS:::: Make sure you come between 7-9 and sign up at our tables so you can get goodies and the discounted cover charge, which gives you more money to buy the cutiest girl or guy (or host) you see there a drink or a rose!!!!!! Last party at 8 Seconds we had 343 members sign in between those hours so lets pass the word and see if we can break that number. We will again have a reserved section up by the stage for us to all hang out. The venue is huge if you haven't been there before with room for 2000 people. There is a snack bar and a hat store. And the dance floor is huge! So get your cowboy on !!!!!!
Register: 7-9
Cover charge: $2 for POF members who sign up at our table between 7-9 (after that it will be the normal $5 taken by the doormen)
Dancing all night (I also discussed the line dancing situation with them and they encouraged us to just go out into the middle and shake our booty's even with the line dancing going on around the outside of the dance floor, they said people do it allllll the time...so I better get asked to dance!)

You will really enjoy their sound and energy. And for all you who are new to POF events/parties, you will have a blast. I went to my first one at 8 Seconds Saloon back in May, and I had a lot of fun. Welcome to all the POF newbies...let us know at the door if this is your first party so we can make sure we greet you and feel free to hang out with me if you are coming by your self. I ususally have a table reserved and am up and down the whole night trying to make sure everyone is having fun....Happy to see a few of my old buddies signed up, T-WE NEED SOME FUN...so get on your dancing shoes!!!! Speaking of dancing...I went into 8 Seconds last Saturday night and there was NO line dancing going on when I was there...it was kind of late, but there was several people dancing to the band and they were all just dancing so I am going to make it my mission to make sure we get out there and shake our butts... I don't know about you guys, but I work hard, raise my kid, try to help my family and friends and it leaves very little time for meeting people, guys or girls and I have almost no social life anymore (aka not dating) so the POF parties and outings are great to meet people and hang out and DANCE and not just be "Mom" for a night...I can be Criss.... | |
