| Do plentyoffish pages load faster for you since last week ? Posted: 6/9/2009 7:02:11 PM | They are loading a lot faster than anytime I can remember.
I experienced a similar problem yesterday not being able to access the site or the forums. I kept getting an error saying the link was broken, even when I typed the URL in. Today everything is working fine.
Looks like Markus Frind's first employee (paid that is) is doing some work.

| Do plentyoffish pages load faster for you since last week ? Posted: 6/9/2009 7:57:01 PM | Never had trouble before. The entire site, including forums have always loaded just fine before and now. Good job ;)
However, both domains, www.pof and www.plentyoffish.com were unavailable all of last night. Not like the world ended or anything ;)

| Do plentyoffish pages load faster for you since last week ? Posted: 6/9/2009 8:00:08 PM | It's much better today than it's been for the last few days (weeks?? - sorry - I have no concept of time) ...I only know today was as good as it used to be :)
The only problem it that we still have to hit refresh so see our edits, sometimes 2 or 3 times, but it's no big deal - you get used to it:).

Edit: Just to be clear - I'm talking about posting in the forums - the pages/post button were reeeeeealy slow for a while - all is good now:)

| Do plentyoffish pages load faster for you since last week ? Posted: 6/9/2009 8:06:23 PM | Yes they are loading faster here for me, but whenever I edit a post I have to refresh the page twice to see the changes. It's been like that for over a month now.
Edit: Both the main site, and the forum pages are loading faster.

| Do plentyoffish pages load faster for you since last week ? Posted: 6/9/2009 8:20:52 PM | | I noticed something weird in the forums. Every now and then a post that bares no resemblance to the original post gets posted in a thread. It almost seems as if the post was intended for another thread and posted to a different one. I am serious. I noticed this three times today. I mean maybe people are just being random and weird but it could be something kind of computer glitch. | |

I tried all evening Monday till midnight and tried from several computers and couldn't even get the sites to come up. I thought at first it was the computers but realized the site was down. That blew.....

| Do plentyoffish pages load faster for you since last week ? Posted: 6/9/2009 9:59:44 PM | The site was down day before yesterday from around 4pm to almost 3am here in the southern USA. Pages still load the same with me. Fast. Usually takes two to four seconds between pages. But i keep my machine clean. Bug' Virus free and updated. Also have a good pop up blocker and ad blocker. That helps a bunch. The only problem i have had is when i try to add more to a previous post. It won't add what i typed. I have to click the back button and click update post again. Usually works after that. | |

| Do plentyoffish pages load faster for you since last week ? Posted: 6/9/2009 10:53:42 PM | "Load" faster is pretty subjective. Are we talking about the initial screen? The corresponding screens? The forums?
All I know is, for the last while it's become a complete pain to enter forum posts...it seems to hang 99% of the time on submission. I make a reply to a post, submit and wait...and wait...and wait.
Sometimes lately it's been hanging at switching screens too. Dunno what to tell ya Big Fish...been some tinkering going on behind the scenes?
