| | Jeff DunhamPage 1 of 1 | Anyone else going to see Jeff Dunham tonight at the UBC Thunderdome?
In case you don't know, he's one heck of an amazing ventriloquist. I saw him YEARS are on Comedy Club 54 on TV (it was an old old old rerun) and again on Just For Laughs and it seems within the last year or two, he's really skyrocketed in popularity. My sister bought tickets so mom, her and I are going to see him. Anyone else going?

Ackmed the Dead Terrorist is one of the funniest things I have seen in years.
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/11/2009 12:26:01 PM | | Generally I find ventriloquists to be the lamest of all prop comedians, but Jeff Dunham definitely bucks that trend. His Achmed character is hilarious | |

| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/11/2009 1:45:44 PM | A friend of mine was supposed to go last night in Victoria...but his friend apparently sold the tickets... Sad.. I've seen some video clips of Jeff...and he is frickin hillarious! And skootch..that terrorist things in a riot too! I'd def be into seeing him sometime...just wont be tonight...as I'm jumping on a ferry to the island tonight!

| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/11/2009 7:02:45 PM | | He's a riot , an absolute riot, I've seen the same videos over and over and I still laugh my head off | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/11/2009 8:28:10 PM | | I was there!!! Had crappy seats but...saw him on the BIG SCREEN yippee! He was hilarious. HINT: don't choose floor seats no matter if they say they are the 'best available'... | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/11/2009 9:00:21 PM | | ok I am obviously the only one who feels this way,.... never heard of him although I do remember someone sent me that Achmed thing and I didn't find it even slightly amusing....must have been a bad day,.... I'll have to watch it again. | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/11/2009 9:12:54 PM | I wish I was!!

| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/12/2009 7:38:36 AM | ^^^ of course they were. Mine were not.
Where's Achmed when you need him? That reminds me to get the YouTube videos links. I never saw his other dummies before except the one who doesn't like Achmed (!) and they were hilarious too.

| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/12/2009 11:03:40 AM | We had seats up in the sides, near the back. I do have to say, that those itty, bitty seats are not made for fat butts and were highly uncomfortable but aside from that it was a good show. Most of the stuff he did, he's done before (Especially the Bubba J, as evidenced by the audience being able to say the punchlines) but there were some new ones. I like Achmed, but I <3 Walter. We didn't get as much time with Walter as with the other ones.
It was a good time :) Although, getting out of the parkade was insane - especially when you get some yokel in a van behind you blaring the horn and screaming at you to "GO!" when you can't go anywhere. lol
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 6/12/2009 12:09:57 PM | ^^^^ LOL, yes there's always one in the crowd. I agree about the seats, i had the guy next to me practically sitting on my lap and the guy behind us had the worse garlic breath ever !! I love garlic but omg he kept burping it up. My son was gagging Yes the crowd was resiting Bubbas punchlines but what made me laugh was the 2 guys in front of us knew every single word....LOL I saw alot of people buying the battery operated puppets for $60.00 each. CRAZY price ! My favs are Walter and Achmed. Peanut is too hyper anyways all in all it was a blast and would see him again for sure.

| Jeff Dunham Posted: 1/8/2010 8:50:11 AM | | Jeff Dunham has elevated ventriloquism to new heights. Of his dummies I like Achmed the dead terrorist and Walter the best. Dunham performed in Atlanta's Philips Arena on December 28, 2009. The tickets were $50.50. Before the show there were a few children walking around and carrying their own dummy. Are they future ventriloquists? | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 1/8/2010 7:14:41 PM | | Are Dunham fans aware that he has a show on the Comedy Network now? Check your online TV schedule for dates & times; like most cable network shows, there's plenty of airings of each episode. | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 1/10/2010 11:54:22 PM | | Achamied. Spelt like.....A...C..flem. LMAO. Ya Peanut kicks ass! | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 1/11/2010 10:19:26 PM | If you go to ComedyCentral.ca you can watch the Jeff Dunham show on-line. Also Jon Stewart and many others.. | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 1/13/2010 5:39:29 AM | | I know that Jeff Dunham is great but are we ignoring other great ventriloquists? I am also fond of Terry Fator and Carla Rhodes. I liked the ventriloquism movie Dead Silence too. | |
| Jeff Dunham Posted: 1/17/2010 1:16:13 PM | I'll agree with you there. Jeff Dunham is good (even better live) but Terry Fator's great! Saw him in Vegas at the Mirage, that's one show you don't want to miss out. | |
