Usually you have to look around the guys in your face.
Sometimes you may even have to make the first move in saying "hi."
But wouldn't it be nice to make the first move and say hi to your last first date?

No one can commit anymore, it's a virtual candystore. They just move onto the next one, tell me you haven't seen it, I have. Mindgames are cheap and simple to these moron guys.
No one can commit, repeat this 10 times over. It is a VERY rare thing that happens nowadays.
I personally can and have (committed), I come here to browse the forum talk and that's it. As time goes by and these guys get older, the chances of a commitment grow mega slim.

Most likely, it's my unlimited amount of indifference. Not caring if you're cool tends to have a reverse effect. That always seems to draw the crowds. Either that or the fact that I can sport a bikini, change a tire and write a thesis? I dunno.

Of course there are lots of that. But most aren't.
I started a long term relationship at 20. That was great, but it didn't head towards marriage. We might not have figured out enough about where we were going first.

Guys & girls BOTH do this... even if they want to settle down, they're not wanting to settle down for you (at least not in the moment) and have other options they're feeling out (not necessarily literally).
It's the dating game itself, when two people don't "click" or aren't in the same "gear" when it comes to how they tackle the dating circuit. The want-relationship-with-you-now person gets frustrated and calls the other person "playing games".
Most women who complain about it do the same thing the opposite way. They just say "well, I was interested... but I don't want to be mean... I'm not playing games," but the guy will, in the same regard, call her out for "playing games".
A "game" is usually just someone else not being really interested and not handling things in the way the other person (who does have keen interest) would like.
PS: OP, you are looking for 'friends'. Hence, a guy is not obligated whatsoever to be as available to you as you thought he would be, because you're looking to be on a non-dating level. What's up with that?

i'm single because the last girl i really liked and who really liked me had intimacy issues due to abusive ex-b/f's.
on my end of things, i'm not a patient person. i have no tolerance for games and that doesn't help myself when it comes to relationships. i also don't want kids- it's hard to find women who don't want kids. | |

Guys feel like I can't be fun or exciting because I don't drink, smoke or roll on drugs. I also don't eat meat or dairy but it doesn't mean I wont be around it or not accept someone because of their lifestyle choice, they assume I'll try to change them or preach to them...not the case at all. I'm also 5'9..a bit tall..and I"m curvy...so...yeah..I dunno..being single at 21.....woopty doo..no fun.
