Posted: 6/14/2009 7:31:20 AM | Good fun with lots of people. The band, Page 5, is fantastic with a wide selection of great dancing music.  We had the best seats in the house all the chairs around the dance floor as well as the dart board area for those who wanted a little less volume.

But, thats Newlands for ya, they always pack em in.
The band was ok, however, like to make a suggetion for another band if possible.
They are a tributte band to CCR, seen them play on Friday night, and were they ever good, like really good, did an excellent job of playing CCR's music, and if ya LOVE ya CCR, Creedence Clearwater Revival, then ya will love this band.
The band is called, "Willy And The Poorboys", but can they ever play a mean CCR rendition. | |

At any rate, I am so peeeeeeed off that I had to cancel out for this event.
I am really hoping to make it to the next one.
Hopefully that is ----> that there is a "Next One" ???

With any John Fogerty concert, or CCR concert is always a "Fantastic AAA+" , and nothing short of it, especially if you are a CCR or Fogerty fan.

Anyhow, even tho it was not a CCR or John Fogerty night at Newlands, it was still pretty good. | |
