| confused and frustrated Posted: 6/14/2009 12:30:24 PM | Well I have never done this before but I would like to know what outside parties think. Here goes. I met a man on another site 8 months back. Our connection was instantaneous and it took off like a rocket. We both worked shift work snd when I took permanent day shift. Things ateted to go bad. I didn't make the connection until recently. Its been on again off again ever since February. Each time I move on he decides to come back saying he missed me yada yada. Then he backs off again saying he doesn't or can't have a committed relationship. So the cycle spins again. I have never had this happen to me. I can walk away and never look back. Now I feel trapped on an emotional roller coaster ride. He came by last week to tell me no hard feelings etc. Well why do that text and email works. He looked seriously depressed. So I softened a little but held strong. Of course he is on this site and others looking for a long term relationship. He even suggested seeing me even if he was dating another? What the hell? I fired off some nasty emails and now he is not responding. My friends say run far far away. And I need to not get sucked back into it.
Confused..angry..hurt?..tired!

| confused and frustrated Posted: 6/14/2009 12:38:53 PM | A man that did not want to be honest and truthful with you. Who knows why, but I would not let it get you down, this online dating stuff is just plain crazy. The more people I talk to on here, or have been on here tell me it was not for them...they = women, with similar experiences.
You are pretty, go out and meet yeah a nice guy without the email, text communications. It makes it impressionable, and lack of feeling or emotion....

| confused and frustrated Posted: 6/14/2009 8:23:14 PM | Diva, Get off that rollercoaster! Walk away. In this case, I'd ask him to stop contacting you period. If he has to contact you at work, tell him business only.
I would caution you to be EXTREMELY careful with future relationships in the workplace. I've never been a fan, and I've never endorsed it when I've seen it happen.

| confused and frustrated Posted: 6/14/2009 8:27:44 PM | This man is playing games with your heart. I am sorry for your pain and frustration. I know exactly this feeling since I have had the same problem with the man I just broke up with again for the fourth time. This time I believe he will leave me alone. The other times he would contact me with poetry or something that made me want to see if things could get better...my hopes got raised higher each time and each time they fell even further. It's a yoyo trip. You can do like me and do the catwalk. Peace to you sister. | |

| confused and frustrated Posted: 6/14/2009 9:41:18 PM | Hey divadivine4u,
I had the same shit happened to me, and it was so hard to let her go!
At any rate, I finally put my foot down and enuf is enuf.
I think the best way to deal with idiots like them is to tune them out completely. It was tough to ignore at first, everytime she calls or texts. But after a week or so, when she clued in that I'm not rtn her calls/txt, and her calls stopped, thats when the "outta sight, outta mind" kicked in, and i was able to pick myself up and move on.
Crack the whip and put an end to this shit, cause there are plenty of fish in the sea!
PEACE! | |

| confused and frustrated Posted: 6/15/2009 5:35:40 PM | | Yikes, your post makes me wonder if we have been seeing the same man? | |
|
| confused and frustrated Posted: 6/15/2009 9:48:59 PM | | Ok since you fired off the nasty emails, why bother with him anymore. Block and delete all #'s, addresses, and all forms of comunication, give yourself a few weeks to a couple months then dip your toes back into dating. | |
