Posted: 6/18/2009 11:17:16 AM | Has anyone else been getting emails from POF, that says so and so has listed you as a favorite, then when you click on your list who added you they aren't there?
I also search the name, only to find out NO ONE is on this site by that name ....

Posted: 6/18/2009 11:57:41 AM | If your getting on and doing a user search to look for them then its someone with a hidden profile. I dont really agree they are stalking or checking up on you though. Many here run with hidden profiles. Many fav ya for a variety of reasons, especially when your active in the forums.

- They may have taken you off after adding you
- They may have changed their name after adding you, then deleting you
- They could have been subsequently deleted from the system
- They are hidden

Posted: 7/2/2009 12:07:55 PM | It's happened to me a number of times and I've discovered that if you wait about 10 minutes it usually goes onto the list.
My guess is that it's just the server catching up with itself. All databases have rules that determine the order functions are carried out; if there is an overload in the system somewhere functions lower on the list can be delayed. | |

heck shows up im a fave but no one is on the list whe i click to see who it is.
In your case - Point # 4
- They may have taken you off after adding you
- They may have changed their name after adding you, then deleting you

- They are hidden
