Posted: 6/18/2009 7:55:27 PM | So... I filled out the Chemistry test on POF...found the questions interesting....thought...hey... if I am really going to get serious about meeting some Fish here I should use the tools ....right?
anyhoot.... noticed today a window pops up with male Fish with percentage % signs above their name/pic...and it is the percentage of how compatiable I am with them...real kewl!
I checked out a lot of the 96% and higher.....an I found they were good matches in a lot of ways.......THEN.......................... I found one guy....he looked familiar....91% match...check him out.... OMG.........guy I met....real racist... I mean we are talking pointy hat club and no qualms about saying what various visible groups can go and what cruel and inhumane punishment he would like to inflict upon them.
how is it that we are 91% compatiable?.....I mean... I understand...our values, etc are similiar...very similiar..but how could this other side of him be so out there and revolting to me?
Have you tried out the Chemistry Test?... I rather like it... I think it is very telling.... and besides this one dude .... I think it is a helpful tool. A place to start at least. | |

Well Rose, every one who intends to get serious about a fish here or elsewhere should really use their tools...
now you know if you haven't used them tools in a while, clean off the cobwebs, get a tune-up and don't forget the oil and lube...
and top up the antifreeze
if there is to be Chemistry you want it all running smooth

don't even look at it anymore
only had one response to a 100% match, we met and all was nice ....but there was none of that chemistry...
the rest, about 4 or 5 90+% matches never replied...unread delete...go figure
about your experience? the 9% of azzhole you met outweighed the 91% compatibility which you don't even want to know | |

A massive percentage of members are either loonie toons or serial daters....
I would'nt recomend taking any ''test'' or anything else thats geared towards match making.....we all know it's about attraction, sincerity, integrity, honesty etc....

But if your interested in looking at matching percentages there is another free site that does a much, much more extensive job. No its not perfect, so many individuals, but you get a sense that your values are at least represented in the numbers...including, orientation, religion etc. Also, lots of fun tests on there.... probably not allowed to post that OKC site, but you can mail me if you want more. Hey wait! where are you going ?.......

Many times people want to be something they are not. When answering a personality test people are confronted with choices and generally choose the answer they want to be, not the answer that suits who they really are. This actually extends to peoples profiles where they write what they think they are, not who they actually are.
This makes this, and other dating sites a bit of a dice game. However, it isn't any better in the real world so, take it as it comes. | |

even if your statement would reflect a general behavior, still it is extremely judgmental!
IMHO The Chemistry thingy feature is another wonderful thought and its implementation here or elsewhere a waste of time and resources based on my experiences...perhaps the merit of it is just entertainment value??????????

For minor clogs and accumulation of sticky substances use plunger
all else call plumber

Posted: 11/7/2009 10:08:41 AM | Okay...Okay...guilty...I've been checking this Chemistry thing everytime I log onto POF now...and I noticed something a few days ago..... the top 3 matches for me...ranging from 94% to 97% all had a profile pic of the guy hugging his dog .
like....how strange and coincidental is that eh?.. I mean... I would totally be drawn to a man with a lovely mutt. I just happen to be thinking about getting a new dog too.... my boy Mags is now in Doggy Heaven playing fetch all day...he passed away 2 years ago...and... ...well... I am thinking a new boyfriend and his dog would be a nice addition.  | |

Unfortunately the poor lady had a recent accident while carrying a tackle box full of lures and a gallon of blue paint down a long flight of stairs, she had fallen and the paint got all in her hair, and she fell face first into the box of lures.......not sure how no chemistry filled out = accident victim. | |

:) Just think how a big, beautiful Labrador Retriever would have answered the chemistry questions. I bet the match % would be really high lol xo | |
