Did you
1. Sign up for 10 speed dating parties? on 10 back to back weekends? 2. Talk to 50 women per day? (There is a way to do this...it's just not as obvious) 3. Go on a dating reality TV Show? Like ElimiDate? 4. Go on any other reality TV show? And try to become an overnight celebrity? 5. Ask everybody in your family to ask everybody they know and everybody those people know who's available for a date?
This is just to emphasize the point im making. Where do you fall in in this discussion
1. No. Never been to a speed dating thing. Maybe if one was free. But thus far, they all cost. 2. I have spoken to that many in one day but it was at work. Nothing to do with dating 3. Ugh no 4. Nope. I don't need celebrity status 5. No. My family has no idea what I look for in a guy and the few times they tried to set me up, failed. So they aren't allowed to do that again.

That was TOO far. I lost all sense of self. All my bearings. Time and space lost coherence...I was adrift....couldn't understand what was going on...
...then, just outside the theater, I saw a guy smack another guy on the head with a stick. It snapped me back into reality.
I'll never to to a girly film again!

If I really liked someone immediately the last thing I would want to do is leave them with a memory of me moving down the line to the next participant. Talk to 50 people a day: tooooooo much stimulation for anything to be memorable or effective. Dating reality show: NOT this woman this is personal business that does not need to be aired in public. People I know seem to think that if they hear about someone being single or know someone that is single than they feel I should look into it just for the sheer virtue that the person is single. I need to be happy too not just in a coupled life style.

Eharmony and a dinner club called Four Plus Four. I have also asked friends to introduce me to available men. I will keep looking. I may never find my Mr. Wonderful but I can enjoy the adventure.

| How FAR have you gone..(in your eyes or others eyes)...to find a bf/gf? Posted: 7/30/2009 1:15:14 AM | When I let my dog out ...... I look around some to see if ........ if any cuties fell out of one of the trees in my yard.
That is pretty much the extent of my ........ umm searching.
I use to gawk at some of the gals at the grocery store but ....... I gave that up a few years back.
I was married most of my life - it is not like I don't know what having a female in my life is like. I have a pretty good idea lol.

Many of these sound desperate. Desperation usually runs people off. I don't have time to talk to 50 people a day. I have a job, and generally my boss likes me to work for a living (imagine that)!
