Special thanks to then many new fishies who ventured into the unknown, I hope you had as good a time as it appeared to be.
Thank as well to those many fishies who traveled from far out of town, Chilliwack, Mission, Vancouver Island, Squamish and one lone representative from Powell River who seemed to have attracted many admirers who normally wouldn't have joined, the rainbow crew, Western Rose (you looked great daaarlin) and many more I really can't remember the names of......
Angiepie as always s great special Thank You friend hug for your wonderful and charming attending to the arrivals  
Thanks to the owners of Mosquito Creek and all the great staff for their efforts to keep everyone refreshed, though it may have gotten a bit slow at the peak of things
and thanks to the band, you were outstanding! 
There is so much more I could say, but really I'm just humbled by so many of you coming out having so much fun , I thank you for making me feel I'm doing something good.

evening. The music was great, the company was better and although crowded it was very civilized. Really
great having a chance to see some people I haven't seen in a lonnnng time and Balled Eagle thank you for

The band was great, dance floor was packed but we just carried on dancing in the aisles.
It was so great catching up with everyone and meeting some newbies.
It was a pleasure meeting WesternWildRose and Balled Eagle, couldn't persuade WesternWildRose to stay, maybe next time and hopefully Balled Eagle will come back and party with us again. | |

I had a great time, and appreciate the hospitality and the effort people made to meet me and make me feel welcome. You people rock!
It was difficult to determine who was doing the groping on the crowded dance floor, but no doubt some people noticed the mangled feathers on our table and in the posted photo the tattered feather I"m holding in my hand. She denied any responsibility .  | |

Posted: 6/22/2009 9:45:33 PM | | first off,i want to say thank you to angiepie and ml1 for hosting such a great evening.you guys made a newbie feel comfortable and welcome.i sure wasn't prepared for the size of the turnout and although i met a lot of nice people,there were a heck of a lot more i didn't get a chance to meet.hopefully i will get the chance at the next event i go to and i will go to more of them,they are just to much to fun to miss.so if any of you people sitting at home are afraid to go out to these events,don't be.the wonderful hosts and the nice people there will look after you and make you feel welcome and included.i was only a stranger till the first handshake...thanks everyone,i had a ball | |
