never heard of getting it down to the exact calendar week!
It's engrained in my memory, and always will be, I suspect. Before that, I was "single" for 20 years - if you count singledom beginning at birth. My only relationship began at age 20 and ended at age 45, when he died. I'll likely be single until I also die. | |

I will be soooo glad when the right one comes along -- saw my parents married happily for 46 years- both of them died last year, only 6 months apart from each other.
I hope I find a love like that-- assuming I live long enough-- at 43, I would have to live to 88 to have that!

Gave up dating for a long time because my kids were a higher priority. Then spent time doing teaching stints in Korea, where the men were all either Korean (no, thanks! -- for reasons I'll get into if anybody's really interested) or young enough to be my son (WAY no, thanks!)
Have only been back in The Land of Corn Free Pizza for a little over 18 months, and don't really work in a field that allows me to meet eligible men on the job. My hobby, ballroom dance, pretty much just puts me in a social setting with established couples. So! Here I am on POF. | |

Well I have been single for the last 14 years and counting. I don't think things will change much since even dating is like a trying to discover the cure for cancer! My longest "dry spell" since I started dating was two years. I've always been an awkward child, I'm just better at finding people who are okay with it as I get older, lol.

Posted: 6/22/2009 2:02:15 AM | One year, four months and twenty six days. Thats when the love of my life drove away to her ex 1500 miles away. And we were going to get married. Ohhhh, I may have to post that question. All because she wanted to get pregnant. And I couldnt give it to her ( insert joke here ). Pain still follows me today. I think thats why I am the way I am.
In a lot of ways, I thought it was the perfect relationship. guess not.
This is not counting the FWB and FB ive had since then. But its like I tell them. Dont even think it, I aint doin it.
And I've thought about having an LTR. Says so im my profile. Im kinda glad no one has messaged me. I dont want to hurt anyone. So there. Now you know.
Its funny too, cuz my myspace profile says im in a relationship, to stop people from poking around. I know, Im a messed up guy...

Posted: 6/22/2009 5:25:28 AM | Well iv been single for a long time as iv actually never had a girlfriend and im 28 now and i have absolutely no idea why im just not attracted to anyone. I dont consider myself good looking.
Most girls/women you notice in everyday situations always seem to be with men who have dark hair why dont you see ginger/red haired men or blonde/light brown haired men with anyone? Ginger/red haired will be takin the mick out of unless your famous or something. Because it just has that not very attractivenes about it.
Most people go for dark hair, seen lot of profiles saying: ''my ideal man would be tall, dark hair, muscualr build''. but most of the time regardless of build they always seem to have dark hair. Why?
I can have a nice conversation wit someone and have things somehow in common but i never spark with anyone at all. I never go beyond a date, nevr go anywhere and get to know em later on. Im not one of the swearing types and being**** and smarmy but the majority of people are like that.  | |

Posted: 6/22/2009 12:51:12 PM | I haven't had an LTR since my last one ended in June, 2007 so I'm sitting at exactly two years this week. It was funny, just found out that my ex from that relationship got married a few months ago ... things that make you go hmmmm :)
Before that relationship, I was single for 4 years, took time to work and finish school. Good times. | |
