i guess normal chat programs make me know if they are worth it and more eaiser to talk too
CAUSE REALLY I HAD ENOUGH, they dont even at least reply back, guys on this site are just sitting ducks,

Women recieve a ton of mail and have to be selective. Lastly, in the end women have it more difficult because alot of men are dawgs. I know this sounds terrible but us men are easily attracted to women that look good but more difficult to get seriously attached once we conquered the territory. Women are much more selective. They want to see more than just looks. It is your personality, how confident you are, do you maintain a job, how do you carry yourself, how do you treat others and what are your goals. The list goes on. Most of these questions can't be answered via email. Now don't get me wrong this does not apply to all men nor to all women but it applies to alot of situations. The best thing you can do is just be somebody's friend. If something comes of it great if not you at least you made a friend. Try not to be so aggressive or sound desperate yet state your true intentions. The more frustrated you become the more you say stupid things instead of just being yourself. And as one person said it best. There are more places to look for women then on these sites. You are going to work yourself silly on here, become successful in her finally emailing you. She is the only one you have to email while she is emailing 10 others. You will get more frustrated thinking she doesn't care and then may sound demanding again. Or in the end you finally meet her on a date after she really really likes you and you are all bummed because you worked for 6 months to find her and she ain't the right one for you. I say that to say this just have fun, relax and don't set your mind to just the internet. Spend 30 minutes on here a day and move on with life. In the real world there are still more women than men not the 1 to 13 you find on here. | |

Well, one of my female friends told me about it and I thought why not check it out and give it a try. The eternal optomist!
Women not responding - well, my friend, I agree that you just shouldn't be using this site soley to find women - get out there and mingle - the grocery store, walking down the street, just say hello to a woman and smile - you'll be amazed, but most times the woman will smile and say hello back. If women are not responding to your emails, then it might just be that they have bad manners. I know as a woman, I have made a conscious effort of replying to every email that I've gotten so far, whether it be just to say thank you for emailing me. So, if these women that you are emailing find the time to even do that, then aren't you glad that you've found this out now? It's like any other form of communication in a relationship and better you see the person's lack of simple consideration now and move on, then get entangled in something that might just be an utter lack of your time. Manners and kindness are free, so just move on and email someone else.
For me (speaking for the women out there), it's sometimes daunting and you don't know quite what to say, but ladies, at least make the effort to email the guy back, if he has been polite and courteous and say thank you for the email. He's obviously taken the time and effort to send you an email, so simple respect should be shown. Well, that's my "Miss Manners" speech for today! And guys, same applies to you. | |

It is good manners to at least say thank you for the e-mail wether the recipient is a male or female. | |

Myself, I have picked up responses, I still however have alot of unopened mail, I do agree the ratio seems out of balance.
I look at it this way, my profile was honest, I have pictures on here, I e-mail people and get very low responses, but I do get some, and finally this program is free, actually I'm amazed its as good as it is, I just paid fifty dollars for 'matchmaker' and for 2 weeks I could not use it, I canceled it got my money back after about another week of fighting them, so honestly how can ya complain about free.

But than, I only contact ladies (and men) who are posting in the forums.
Right, the one that didn't reply, was not on the forum, I reacted on her profile.
CaR, maybe this can help you:
Don't you ever want to react on someones post just too personal to put it in the thread?
Send an email!
And don't bother the gender, treat all alike.
I've noticed that everyone replied then.
And there could be a nice girl among them, but you'll find out later, by reacting on their replies.
Just let it happen by incident, let it grow slowly, if there is anything more.

Posted: 10/18/2004 7:26:58 PM | there are so many reasons why women don't email back that it isn't funny. to think right off the bat that they are liars or evil is just plain stupid. you have to open your eyes and realize that the world is not out to get you. i have met a few women on this site who have done that for me and we are good friends and talk everyday. but it did take me awhile to meet these women. for some it is shorter wait and for others it seems like forever. now i am not sorry for being harsh before but you needed someone to give you a smack in the head. so stop friggen complaining because thats one thing not just women but everyone finds annoying and go search other sites and go search your friggen city.........which happenes to be my city aswell. expand your horizens. go to areas with your buddies that you normally don't go to. and friggen flirt with women. but if you don't do these things and you stay bitter than it is your own d*mn fault so don't take it out on these nice women.

Everyone wants love my man (well most people do), but in your post, that's all you say is that want "true love", "real love" and on and on, and over and over. Okay, you haven't even met these people yet, you may be coming on a bit too strong (okay, you definitely ARE coming on way too strong). Imagine if you went up to a girl in public and said to her exactly what you wrote in your profile, she'd probably have a restraining order slapped on you. As quiffy as this sounds, you can't force love, you have to just let it come. Go back, rewrite your post to actually include something about you, other than your squealish needy whining for "true" love. Talk about yourself, what you like, what you do, what your pasttimes are, what means something to you (other than love). And my last suggestion is to take some new photos without the dumb MTV-gansta-nylon hat. You're 25, you're not a gangsta, nor are you some MTV rap artist, you don't have bling (and if you did, talking about it is a sure way to attract those who will only love your wallet) and frankly that style is something more fitting to some middle-class wannabe 17 year old, who ldoesn't realize rap music is just music and the lifestyle that it portrays is no more real than the WWE. I'm not meaning to be rude, but seriously it's true. Gotta act your age, not what you see on TV. | |
