| Things to do around St Loo ~ that are FREE Posted: 6/25/2009 9:13:45 AM | Saturday 7pm at OUR LADY OF THE SNOWS SHRINE in Belleville, IL is a play put on by teens from around the country that have been here for 1 week... this year's play is
"JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR"
I went to the play they had last year...these kids are incredibly talented to pull this together in just under a week! FREE
Plus... my brother takes a week off work to be a Youth Minister there. He is amazed by these kids and the kids are inspired by what he is capable of inspite of his paralysis.

| Things to do around St Loo ~ that are FREE Posted: 7/11/2009 7:02:02 AM | For those that like county music, there is a free concert out in Wentzville Rotary park on Thursday, July 16th. WIL and Shop N Save are bringing in Jake Owens for a free concert. Unfortunatly I won't be able to make this, I will be at the swine auction at the Lincoln County fair watching my god-daughter and her sister show their little piggies that will be going to the market to get turned into pork steaks.
Also, for those who are looking for something to do with their kids when the days get hot, Wehrenberg is offering their free movies again this summer. Check out their 2009 Family Summer Series to see which movie theaters and movies are available close to you. This is only on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM. | |

The Muny this week has Godspell. Monday through Sunday. Gates for the free seats open at 7 and the play starts at 8:15. Soft side coolers, no cans or glass bottles, no alcohol, they sell it though. Cooler must fit under your seat. Lots of people bring their dinner and eat while waiting for the performance. So, if you didn't eat ahead of time, you will develope an appetite!

| Things to do around St Loo ~ that are FREE Posted: 7/18/2009 10:32:02 PM | | Godspell was awesome. In spite of the laughter they put into the show, it really gets to your spirit, and brings back some of the music that I thought was so cool when I was young... Sunday night, 7/19, is the last night to catch it at the Muny! | |
