Brazilians won 3-0.. how about them apples?! Brazil 2010 WC champions The second runner-up will be Netherlands, and then the dark horse Hungary :) I'm not sure what everyone else thinks, but I believe this to be a very good prediction, lol.. the only reason Hungary is the dark horse is because I am Hungarian and would like to see them succeed for the first time in years!

Confed cup is a meaningless tournament!.......italians were hardly motivated and could care less............Conf-cup winners have not repeated to win the WC the following year.

it was nice to see team USA beat Egypt after an awful start........and its a nice challenge for them to play against Spain.....hopefully they can learn something from the experience that will prove helpful!

So what if the Confederations Cup is a meaningless tournament its football at the end of the day and I am enjoying watching it.

Krisztian Nemeth is one to look out for in the future, for Hungary

Italy were bad.
it was sad for me to watch.
Lippi need to take the blame, his selections and tactics were terrible.

not Picking Cassano?
Bringing Toni and Gilardino? wtf?

Stuff Brazil, its as if ppl think they have a god given right to win every world cup.

Toni should definitely go, this guy has never done anything on an international level, why they keep using him i don't know.

cannavaro was not what he was in 06.....he is getting too old, as many others are!....they have a lot of young talented players that they should try to break in.

Toni had an ok world cup, but after that forget it.
Same with Gilardino.

Italy are better when they play a more mobile game up front with 2 strikers, instead of one huge striker up front.

Giovinco, Bolateli, Santacroce, Aquafresca, Amauri, Motta.
All need to come in.

Seems they are missing Totti.
Hopefully he will be fit next year and fancy a comeback to the NT.

I was surprised that Brazil killed Italy that bad and .....that the Us beat Egypt 3-0 when they couldn't get anything right.

All in all i understand U.S Best players go for Football and Basketball. It's a miracle that match was won. Not discounting American Soccer for anything just saying its not a priority in the U.S.

Im becoming a bigger fan and the Confed cup was really intriquing.

.......USA was playing below par all along, which was in part due to the coach's poor tactics and selection............the win against Egypt showed their true colors.....it was a decisive victory!

Not discounting American Soccer for anything just saying its not a priority in the U.S.

...because there is little money in it....and also because it is being marketed poorly!...it may take another 25-50 years for the sport to be played at same level as it is in europe!

...wait till you see the WC games then.......the C-cup pales in comparison.......But for now, its USA v. Spain!

...........Go USA!
