If you're experiencing this in the Ask A Girl or Ask A Guy forums - read the 2nd thread in either forum, bolded in red - threads are locked after 20/21 replies.
Also be aware that there is a 3-4 second delay before they show up now.

Posted: 7/3/2009 7:28:46 PM | I can't find a thread about starting threads. I need to start threads for the meets I've arranged, especially the rescheduled beetles meet as people have asked me to let them know when its been rescheduled for. I make the thread click post and nothing.

Thanks, I meant as a help topic to post on. I Can't start a topic on not being able to start a thread cos I can't start a thread. Sorry, I didn't make myself clear.
Somethings not right, it just takes me back to the UK forum index when I send it. I've tried to create a party thread and tried a normal thread. I could post before I deleted my account. I only deleted because I couldn't log in even though the account was there. Someone said it was to do with the server upgrade but I'd already deleted it by then. Now I cant start threads. Could my account have been corrupted? | |

you have reached the max number of postings in this thread.
strange since another poster has posted 25 times in the last 4 pages and I haven't posted at all in those pages. infact I don't think I've posted that many times in the whole 75 pages of that thread.... ? seems like censorship bias to me.
Its in the science/philosophy section and I was just going to drop in a science fact.
[not important but also strange how these new rules just pop up out of nowhere and seem quite unbalanced in their fairness]

ps.... since we now have this new rule ...
how do we find out what the limit is .... and
how do we find out how close to that limit we are?
new rules require code and that should include posting the rules and would be nice if a method of working within those rules without abrupt cutoffs was accomodated.

EDIT: In making another attempt to post a new thread I am told I am only allowed 5 posts a day..lol I have only posted 4 today....lol where is the 5th ...lol In addition, this one should not count...I was making a report...lol
Is this punishment or what and if so for what? lol I was amusing myself and responding to threads ...lol
If I knew I had this limit - I would not have posted the earlier ones - some warning is in order...
