| Deal Breaker? Posted: 6/23/2009 8:50:18 PM | What is an absolute deal breaker for you? Physical characteristics? Income? Kids? Religion?
At what point in the getting-to-know-you do you introduce this factor and how?
What if it's really close - for instance if you want your guy to be 5'7" or taller - is an inch shorter really that big a deal?

| Deal Breaker? Posted: 6/23/2009 9:02:58 PM | what is a deal breaker? definitely not physical aspects. I think that is determined quite early if there is attraction or not. To me, a deal breaker would fall in one of these categories but not in any particular order: Alcoholism Drug addictions cronic liars lack of motivation, earning a living/steady income. no brain surgeons required but must like/love their chosen career path. personality crippling insecurities
This is not to say that i am perfect... am not by any means however, these are my own personal red flags and deal breakers. Take them for what you will. As i have read here countless times before... been there, done that and bought the t-shirt!

Cigarette smoking and excessive drinking are big turn offs too.

| Deal Breaker? Posted: 6/23/2009 9:47:36 PM | | I have no real issues with a woman's physical attributes - okay, if there is a parasitic twin involved that could be an issue. I might also prefer that she didn't stink. But otherwise, the only real deal breakers might be that she's in debt up to her eyeballs, is all about 'sport marriage', and has no other real life goals save for where husband number 5 is coming from. Really, someone who is self actualized and goal oriented is a keeper. | |

| Deal Breaker? Posted: 6/23/2009 9:50:12 PM | Without a doubt, my dealbreakers are:
1. Liars 2. Cheaters

I'm athiest...so when someone starts proselytizing me. Definite deal breaker.
Yep, that'll do it for me too.
In men, constantly flaking off when we have actual plans will piss me right the hell off. Physically, long hair. I don't know why, but I seriously instantly lose all physical attraction to a man with long hair.
And I'm bisexual, so in women (whether for dating or even just friends), it's the die hard feminists who bug me, the ones who are constantly putting men down and going off about how men don't want to be with them because they're intimidated. Please - the average man isn't intimidated by a woman's success, he's irritated about the fact that they're a self-centred brat. Also, a woman who talks all the time about her diet - I currently work with a woman like this and I'm about five more minutes of "chemical diet balancing no food" conversation from stapling the work she's supposed to be doing to her forehead.

| Deal Breaker? Posted: 6/23/2009 10:26:09 PM | 1)Liars/Cheaters-been through to much with this so zero tolerence 2)Cleanliness -Bad oder major turn off 3)God complex-sorry no one knows that much about everything 4)Fat-I like curves and someone with a little extra cusion is more than fine but no one big as they are tall. 5)My personal finance and job is no ones business unless I'm in a serious realtionship.
In short this is dating not jumping into a relationship.I'm looking to have fun meet someone cool.If your self involved and super judgmental you will not like me and if you are I wont like you.I really dont have many rules or gidelines I shouldnt have too its just dating. Its mostly attitude with me.Personality means everything to me and ****iness and attitude dont fly.I also dont believe in sparks flying or love at first site on a first date.Feelings and love take time and doesnt happen in a few phone calls and a meeting .Thats why I'm friends first and take my time.
