Last night I searched for fireworks somewhere in my area - Went all by myself to Homer, GA (about 13 miles), a town of 2,000 where they do them out on someone's farm.. Outstanding. No vendors, no admission, no announcements, just cars and lawn chairs parked anywhere that seemed a good spot. I parked, sat on the hood of my car, broke out a diet coke, and watched 15 minutes of a terrific light show. There was a cool breeze and you could smell the sulfer..... Areal sensory experience..... I especially loved the ones that have eliptical shapes like galaxies and novas and such, the ones that fell slowly in the shape of umbrellas of fire..... and the ones that boom, boom, boomed!!
