I want to meet someone who gets me and who I get. Someone who's interesting and interested.

By interested, I mean interested in Life. Interested in creating and choosing your own adventure.
Blah blah blah. More filler. You said nothing. By choosing their own adventure do you mean robbing liquor stores? Or divesting themselves of all property and travelling the world or do you mean going picking seasonal fruit and trying new foods? We don't know you, so we don't know what an adventure is to you.
Also, someone who shares my interests would be cool. My primary interests include; cinema, music, art, travel, cuisine, trying new things.
At some point you need to say something solid. We do not know what your interests are. Cinema could equal animal porn. music, do mean mean learning to play, the history of (going to Graceland or the Motown muesem) or just liking the radio station that you like. Art. Do you paint, Sculpt, Draw, go to openings or spray paint out of your butt on canvas as performance art?? Are you with me here? you are just saying general 'words' that you think sound good but are actually so vague as to mean nothing because they share no information about you with the reader.
My tastes in music and film tend to lean toward indie/foreign/classic stuff.
Again just vague. Indie is anything not mainstream. Just because it's indie does not make it a style. Are you into indie horror or indie urban documentary? Same with foreign. Both French and african are foreign but still quite different.
I'm not really into sports or video games or comic books or stuff like that.
We don't care to hearwhat you don't like at ths point... although interestingly enough, for the first time you are specific about something.
I'm originally from Brooklyn, NYC. I moved to NoVA 4 years ago for my job. I miss New York City.
Not too bad but, What is your job? I am sure that you do not hire yourself out as a television. Do you repair tvs, are you a camera person or producer or are you a local on air celebrity? TV is not a job. It's both a mediem and a piece of equptment.
But, half of my family actually lives in Virginia now which is good. I recently became godfather to my great-nephew. :)

Personally, I want to find a good match, meet, date and see where it goes from there. Ultimately, I really want to get to know someone deeply. I'm not really interested in casual dating. I'm not looking to get married right away either. But yeah, a relationship is what I want (with the right woman).

I have to say that your profile is one that says the opposite. You do not even put yourself out there in your profile, so when I read this I am suspect of how true this actually is. You come off as quite blah in your profile and you can't even smile in your picture. The 180 dgree opposite of passion and creativity.
I want something real. I'm not interested in people who are superficial, shallow, or prejudiced.
As opposed to the rest of the world that wants something fake, with a superficial, shallow and prejudiced person?? Drop this.
As you can see in my opinion you have quite a bit of work to do. I am sure that the issue is neither your looks or that the rest of the world is racist.
