I am trying to find some one very unique. Their are not very many girls on maui. So I need to reach a larger number of girls. I am new to this and will like the positive input. thank you Jack

And the first thing I noticed on your profile was first date. Are you serious? I mean, aren't you likely to speak to a woman on the phone before you meet her? If that's the case than can't we just say a cup of coffe at a quiet coffee shop?

The next thing I notice is there is no commas in your interests. You know hiking, stabbing, washing dishes, farting, that kind of thing.

Talk about understatements. I would loose the whole first paragraph but that's just me. You definately show some humor which is good. I would really trim down that whole fist date stuff and lastly I would hang out until the professional lady shows up and polishes up the rest. My only regret is that I forget that phrase they used all the time in "50 First Dates".

You are right in that you will need someone unique. There are not very many girls period, nevermind just in Maui - that would be willing to take off on a sailboat (no matter how cushy) and head off into the sunset indefinitely. Especially in the age group you're looking for when nesting is becoming critical.
With all the skin in your photos, is it really necessary for a cheesy camera-in-the-mirror self portrait? The other shirtless photos are in context and therefore "ok".
Really, it will just take time for the right one to find you. You can move things along by getting the Interests words corrected so they will be searchable. Once in there correctly, you can click on them to find other users with the same word(s) in their Interests field. Sailing, Adventures, SCUBA, Sunsets.... whatever. Good luck!

And your point is ... ?
OK, just kidding! Fact is, were I living there full-time, I could probably overlook the scarcity of women. For a while, anyhow.
Seriously, aside from POF, were I in your flip-flops I'd spend as many evenings as I could visiting the shops in Lahaina (were you are), because there you'll find many very attractive and interesting women who run those shops. Same goes for the Whaler's Village and the Shops at Wailea (if you want to get more upscale), or the shops in Paia (if you prefer the funky route).
Just a thought, and nothing that helps you here, I know.

| looking for some one very unique. please help Posted: 6/25/2009 9:33:03 PM | Honestly, this looks more like you are advertising for a crew to fulfill your dream and you're still two years away from getting the boat in the water.
On your profile you note that you want children...women in the age group you have specified will not want to wait seven or more years for that to happen.
I'm not mocking your dream or what you're looking for in a relationship, it's great to have a five and ten year plan, but do these two things mesh in reality?
Just something to think about.

I was all ready to offer a deep and constructive critique, but then the Shops at Wailea were mentioned, and now, well. . . I'm thinking about black pearls. . . think they were from Tahiti. . . not sure. . . will you be sailing to Tahiti?

Make it shorter. | |
