TIME: 6:00 P:. Till Midnight: Live Band starts at 8:00 pm ~~~~~~~ ATTENDANCE: You must be 21 Years or older to attend.
COVER CHARGE ~~~~~~~~~~~~$5.00
MUSIC: By the Warren Crow Band. As always a Live Band trumps a DJ ten to one and with the Warren Crow band it is about 20 to one. This Band is the very best for a plenty of fish party. Not too loud and not too soft but just right. The play songs to get up close and personal to dance by. That is what Plenty of fish is all about anyway.
MEAL ~~~~~ Dine at the Legion serving starts at 6:00 Pm and continues right up till the Band Starts at 8:00 pm. Come early and mix and mingle and maybe pair up for the first dance. Use this time to get to know someone. I love the early time to just chat and have fun and of course enjoy a great meal.
MENU: CATFISH, HUSHPUPPIES, COLE SLAW, TATER SALAD AND BAKED BEANS. YOUR DRINK OF ICED TEA, SWEET OR UNSWEET OR WATER IS INCLUDED AND THE COST IS ONLY $8.00 INCLUDING TAX. You can't possible find a Meal like this at a price like this anywhere in town.
THE VENUE: THE LEGION CLUB is non smoking, clean and a safe place to gather, with a large parking lot. A security attendant is on site at all times. More that that though, Plenty of Fish Members are not just welcome, they are wanted. Jan and Warren along with their staff will do anything to make your visit a pleasure and always try to make you feel at home. So come on out to YOUR place to party on the 11th and get ready for romance and fun.

Since no one else has stepped forward to do one, Here is the one you have been asking for. We have a couple of new dances for singles to do and one is a CinderFeller dance. Don't miss it. Another is a Blind Date Dance. So shine up those dancing shoes and boots and get ready for an Cool Dance on a Hot Nite in July at the Legion Club In Little Rock.

I know we can do this,Start talking this party up and see the numbers grow. We had a lot of new people at the last one, want to see everyone come back again.There is no better place to have a pof get together than the Legion.

Posted: 6/27/2009 9:09:18 AM | Good Morning Everyone,. Thanks to all of you that has signed up early. I haven't decided what I will do for the early signees but I will do something. Just like all parties the men are lagging behind but what else is new.
The last party at the Legion was a huge success according to all that have responded with their approval. That one is history and we have our memories. Now, lets see if we can make this one even better and that does not mean just more numbers but more fun for the ones that are in attendance. How do we do that? We are open for any suggestions you might have. Let us know if you have an idea that would involve all there and not take too long to set up. We have 2 special dances scheduled already. I guess I am asking, What is your Pleasure?
Hi Prissy, Glad to see you sign up for the party. It will be good to see you there and you can certainly have a dance with me. I am looking forward to it.
Come on People, I know the 4th is coming and you have plans for it but that shouldn't keep you from planning on attending this party on the following weekend. It will be fun, I promise. With the rate we are signing up I may have to email everyone in this dang computer and call it a mass mail. You see I have to have 20 to do a Mass Mail. You already know, THE MORE THAT SIGNS UP THE MORE THAT SIGN UP. I know what the deal is, I have spoiled you, you are waiting for me to make an offer. It is plumb shameful when a host or hostess has to entice you with gifts to get you to come to a great nite of fun and excitement when the whole evening, INCLUDING a meal, live band, and a couple of drinks costs you less than a meal at some 2nd rate diner. Well, there will be something special for the early female signers but I AIN'T GONNA TELL YOU NOW. BE A LATE SIGNEE AND BE SORRY FOR I AIN'T GONNA TELL YOU WHEN THE CUT OFF DAY IS EITHTER. For you that don't see the humor in this I am joking except for the special for the early signees and the cost of the event.

Posted: 6/29/2009 9:39:00 PM | We Say Welcome to all the new sign ups. There were 17 signed up awhile ago and I come back now and have 22. Brake down is 10 men and 20 women. I hope we can keep it that close right up to party.
Lets revive the Romance once more and say sweet things to each other and by party time we will blow the roof off that Ball Room.
Jan and I talked earlier and the Meal will be Catfish, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Tater Salad and Hush Puppies, The drink will be included which will be Iced Tea, Sweet or Unsweet or Water and for only $ 8.00 tax and all. Do the math folks. $5.00 for the cover charge, $8.00 for the meal if you eat at the Legion, That comes to $13.00 for a meal and a nights entertainment and all for $13.00, and with a live band. WHAT A DEAL.
MEN GET READY FOR THE CINDER-FELLER DANCE IT IS GOING TO BE A HUMM-DINGER AND THAT IS FOR SURE. BE SURE AND WASH YOUR FEET AND WEAR SOX WITH NO HOLES IN THEM. JUST A HINT. THIS ONE IS GOING TO BE A HOOT. I DON'T LIKE THAT WORD BUT JUST COULDN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE TO DESCRIBE IT. YOU'LL COME. WE MIGHT JUST TURN THIS THING INTO A SADIE HAWKINS SHOTGUN DANCE BEFORE IT IS OVER.

Golf Sox, I can always count on you for a good one or two. As for myself, I wear only religious sox, you know the holey ones. 
This is going to be another good one i believe. We are ahead of last time in sign ups and with all the things we have planned it has got to be fun. Top that off with a good meal, friendship and a little romance and its Party Time.
Lets all gather at the Legion on the 11th of June for a night of Dining, Making New Friends, and Dancing and who knows you may meet just the one that you have been looking for and they are looking for you. Lets get ready to Fish.

And Jd, quit whinning about having only one pair of socks. When I was a kid we were so poor I was the omly boy in school with shoes 3 toned and numbers on the back. Could not afford to buy any so had to steal them at the bowling alley.

Jim and Jd, I am glad you guys are always dependable and it is a pleasure to have you attend the partes, even though you do hog the ladies somewhat. It just wouldn't be the same without you.
