| Plastic + Food + Heat = a health problem? Posted: 6/26/2009 1:55:35 PM | I've heard on the news lately that there is a specific kind of plastic or plastic additive in babies bottles that could potentially harm babies.
Does anyone know of any other kinds of plastic or plastic additives that could be a problem for adults?

| Plastic + Food + Heat = a health problem? Posted: 6/26/2009 5:35:03 PM | | Not to sure. I don't have babies and none of my food comes in or is heated in plastic. The whole concept freaks me out. I cook all my own meats which I buy fresh. If I am out, and in a bind, I buy a protein shake or a jar of peanut butter...lol I imagine a lot of pre packaged foods that come in plastic containers have some problems...but what doesn't these days??? I try to avoid all of it. As much as possible. I know it is not 100% avoidable. | |

It's banned in some countries and US mfrs are starting to remove it from their products.
BPA has been in the news for a couple years now.

Seriously. Some things are bad, others--well? You just have to ask yourself.
