I'd like to make a couple of suggestions if I may. You do have a picture of your smiling face which is good but it's not a straight on shot. You will really want to be looking at the camera. Got any friend with digital camera? The more pictures the better.
You're interests are pretty light. Try to expand on them.
Your profile was a little, eh. Try to write 3 short paragraphs that describe you, what you like to do and what kind of person you're looking for. Be as colorful as possible. The stuff about working on your vehicle isn't likely to interest a woman unless she's into that kind of thing. | |

Your friendly username won't help you get a romantic partner. Girls already have friends. If you change your username and you have messages outstanding, your name on those messages will change, they won't just disappear. Don't set yourself as only a friend if you ultimately want more.
For your future reference, you've spelled 'friend' wrong throughout. I was always told to remember "friENDs to the END". (i before e, and all that.) Yeah, it's annoying.
The picture of you with the 2 dogs and the FAB smile should be your main - can you crop it so it's just your head/shoulders? You should also add "Dogs" in your Interests field in case your viewer is also a dog owner. By the way, I think something gets lost in translation in the sentence about the big ass suck. (Is 'suck' the verb or the noun?)

Posted: 10/25/2009 7:29:57 PM | I think you could get a better, well lit, not grainy, full face, smiling, no hat, no glasses main photo. Your head shot will be next to thousands of other guys so make your main picture the best possible.
For your interest area add 8-15 interests separating them by comma so they will become blue and searchable. List the NAMES of your favorite sports team, tv show, movies, actors, books, games etc. Details give the reader something to write you about.
Fixed spelling with commas: "socializing with friends and family, wrenching on the toy trucks, trying out new things"
I kinda liked the dog lover, outdoorsy, romantic, philosophical, forklift driver you have presented in your about me section. You need some help in the grammar department so I rewrote what you wrote.
For me to say I have lived life to the fullest...I would one day have a wife who loves me to the end of the world, have many people who call me a friend and have a nice house to call home filled with friends and family. Now that's what life is really about!
I work full time at a warehouse that services a national drugstore chain as a forklift operator. Steady and secure, ultimately its a means to an end for me. People say you need a successful careers to say you succeeded in life. I disagree, I say the life you live outside of work and how much you enjoy life is what it all comes down to at the end of the day.
Occasionally, I like to spend time with friends or that special someone in my life. Whether it's hanging out in a pub or out camping or just cuddle up on the couch watching a movie. In my free time you will find me in my garage, working on my 1972 Ford Bronco that I am building to go off road and enjoy the trails. Back country camping is what I usually like to do and I take my dog, a Pitbull/Doberman mix, with me. You'll find me out camping the majority of the long weekends and hang out around the roaring bonfire with my buds.
I would love to meet a girl that enjoys the outdoors as well as expanding my interests by sharing hers with me. I want to experience more of what life has to offer. I'd like to go hiking, try more sports and just DO and TRY more new things. It's been a while since I have been out ice skating, downhill skiing, boating but sure am looking forward to doing these things soon with someone special. I would love to find someone to work out with and do some body toning/building.
I have an open mind and love to try new things. Last January I took a trip to Cancun to celebrate my birthday. I got to go snorkeling among the coral reefs for the first time in a long time. Love to travel, so far I have been to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Hawaii, and Texas (4 times]. I do have the travel bug and would love to do more traveling!
I make friends easily and with pretty much everyone I meet, usually within minutes due to my jovial and outgoing nature.
I always treat the woman I am dating like a princess. I am interested in a relationship based on mutual respect. That spark HAS to be there for a relationship to work. I'm hoping to find the person who I'll think about from the minute I wake up, to the minute I lay my head down on the pillow and then sometimes even dream about.
Ultimately I think we should start off getting to know each other, see how compatible we are and see where this ride takes us!

Grab a coffee and walk around downtown (Hold my hand?) talking away and people watching. Or perhaps bowling, laughing at how much I suck, then hit up a quiet pub afterwords?

Got some more pics, close ups but you never see me without my glasses (  ), was tempted to put the green goatee one up as my main pic and really get girls lookin but will that bring them in to read was the question.
Proper name spelling has been done, didnt even know you could change it.
I will have to rethink the user name but leave it for now. | |
