Hey-- what do you all think about the Ghost Hunters? I'm a HUGE fan -- hoping to run into them at some point soon; does anyone want to share favorite stories/episodes or have any good gossip to share?

Also, who agrees with me that Jason Hawes is ABSOLUTELY HAWESOME!

We don't git no sci-fi channel here....politics ya know...

Anyhows, I can see some of them on internet sites. Love 'ghosthunting" and debunking and those odd few that "have no explaination".
I've seen too many things that would qualify as "ghostly" and can't refute the idea that ghosts are there. Why? I dunno. But I know they are.

Enjoy the show!

I love this show! I catch it every Wednesday night and I also watch Ghost Hunters International too when Ghost Hunters wraps up. My sister and I love the first season with the light house with Andy and Brian when they see the chair move, their reaction was priceless "OOOHHHHHHHH!". I also like the episode when they investigate the prison and Brian and the camera guy get scared and they run and you hear "Dude Run!" then Grant and Jason mock them it was funny.
Yeah I like Jason but I like Grant alittle bit more. I like their chemistry on the show and I like seeing them investigate.
I just hate when things happen and we don't see it. Something will show up and they get startled and say "Did you see that?" it's like no, I saw you seeing that.

Love the show! I get irritated that the camera always seems to be facing their faces when something goes on. But I love Jason and Grant so much I refuse to believe it's all a hoax! LOL

ive been to the st augustine lighthouse a few times and constantly have to set the story straight when people want to see the ghost, its always the lighthouse keep either juped, caught in a storm and blew off, killed a little girl or some other dramatic crap.

a 12 yo girl was running up the lighthouse steps and on the way up tripped and fell back down (theres a blood stain and dent on the 53rd step)....ghost hunters reported the light house keeper killed her.

i like the premise of the shows but they dont show the findings from the camera, audio or flir its always edited for viewer discretion/opinion of what happened.

Well, they were written about in the latest edition of Discover as author Bruno Maddox's favourite "science" show. I think his tongue may have made a bit of a bulge out from between his teeth, but he gives 'em props where props are due.

Ghost Hunters is one of the best shows sci-fi has come out with, in my opinion. some of the audio and video footage the get is remarkable. some of their live episodes on halloween have shown some really odd things yet their cameras never seemed to pick up on them. very greaT show, very well made.
and the whole team is just bad azz

I love shows like Ghost Hunter. Unfortunately, they always seem to be on when I watch other things.

Shows like Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Most Haunted, and Ghost Adventurers just to name a few really show that unexplained that we all love to watch.

Thanks for the thoughts though-- its fun to fantasize :)

I've been a member of two different ghost hunting teams in the Twin Cities.

And yeah, GH is a good show. Definitely the best since Sightings.

I dunno. When you've seen one orb, you've pretty much seen them all.

I like Ghost Adventures too because it is just the 3 guys and no camera crews following them. I always find Zach funny because he tries to act tough and when he hears a sound or see something he's like "OMG NICK DID YOU HEAR THAT!?"

Most orbs aren't paranormal. They are dust, snow, glare, etc.

I am unsure about the paranormal, but I do know this. Every person who has had a bad encounter with it, allegedly, was sticking their nose where it didn't belong. If there IS another plane on this universe, I leave it alone and it leaves me alone. We stay out of each others way and I see no reason for me to violate that unspoken agreement.

As long as they are real. I like "A Haunting" Most Haunted Places, like most are in Massachusetts. I don't care for "Most Haunted" cause I think they are faking. I could stand in a dark room and throw something, heck.

Emanuel, whether ghosts are real or not, the human race attributes that which it does not understand to them, god(s), or whatever. The supernatural, in other-words.

Whether it is a ghost, or a phenomina you do not yet understand does not matter. All that changes is the name. I choose to do all I can to avoid it.
