Do you believe in UFOS and the worldwide cover-up that has taken place over the years?
I'm just curious of the possible interest in the field because I'm a certified UFO Field Investigator.
It would be nice to share some stories, ideas and theories with like minded individuals.

There is government crafts that are man made that an every day person would see and claim "UFO IN THE SKY".
But what you have to understand is that most of the craft you see such as "Stealths" and other experimental type military craft , in theory, are what we call "Reverse Engineering".
The government takes in crashed UFOS, such as the roswell saucers and they study the craft and use the technology and build our Military jets from intelligent craft that once flew in outer space.
Do you really trust our government? With all the power they seemingly have?
And wouldn't you want to HOPE there is advanced humanoids throughout the universe?
I have a curious mind and I'm intrigued by other curious input into the idea of humans not being alone on this planet earth. | |

That's why so many people saw weird stuff flying out there and the government had to frequently tell them to keep their mouth shut. It's a no-brainer if you ask me. We didn't want word to get out what we were testing out there!
But regarding ufo's seen in other parts of the world? That I can't explain. | |

I am not religious but the Bible speaks of things like flaming chariots from heaven and the skies opening with vast sunlight to reveal an angel floating above...
Could these be UFO's but the terminology of the day and the language used was just different back then? | |

Ah, what the heck! Have I seen an "unusual object" in the sky. Sure. Lots of 'em. Do I think they were little alien space buddies? Hell no.
I sometimes wonder if people really realize just how cluttered our sky has become. Airplanes, satellites, weather balloons. Add on the usual flaura and fauna like stars, meteors and planets . Then there's the ways in which the human eye can be fooled and it's a wonder more people don't run into their basement.
Of course, there's the "true believers" who could have a 737 pass right over their head and say it was an alien spacecraft.
I've been looking skyward for over 30 years, hence my title. I've owned a few telescopes over the years and so am pretty familiar with the night sky (do you know how to spot Camelopardalis?). It's pretty spectacular in its own right without having to populate it with mythical creations...aside from the constellations themselves, that is. | |

Sometimes though their imagination gets the best of them. there was a case in this area in the mid-1970's where several people had seen a UFO. They were asked to draw what they'd seen,and a couple of the witnesses went so far as to draw rows of lights along the sides of the "craft". What it turned out to be was several straw bales that were picked up by a strong whilrwind and twirled across the sky. So much for an alien craft.
However,I'm a believer in life on other planets. It's a big universe out there. The learned like to say that while there could be life on other planets it wouldn't be possible for anyone else to travel through space because WE can't. But who knows what elements might be available elsewhere in the universe to create different technologies.
I've seen 2 things in the sky I can't explain. One night while camping under the stars I was tracking satellites in the sky,and suddenly a red light shot up beside the satellite I was looking at,paralled it for a short distance,then shot off to the side and disappeared. Maybe just a firefly above me? Another time while hunting just before sunset I noticed a orange colored light in the sky to the south. It stayed the same color all the while night was falling.As I was walking home,just before approaching the trees at the edge of our property the light slowly started to move down and to the right and disappeared below my line of site. Before that I thought it was in the sky much farther away,but at that point it seemed a lot closer. Nobody else mentioned seeing it that night,even though I asked a few people who lived in the area. No explanation for that one. | |

Posted: 6/30/2009 7:36:24 AM | ummm...stars, meteors and such are not flora, nor fauna.....but I have seen light reflecting off a big moths wings at night that looked pretty strange at a distance!
I once saw a "glowing object"....looked like a bright star. Two smaller "stars" looped out to the sides of it...in co-ordination, one to a side. they looped and whirled around a bit, then went back to the center "bright star". I was thinking it may have been some kind of "sensors" fired by a helicopter and retrieved...but where I was there really was no "test sights" for stuff like that. Who'd be running that kind of thing over apopulated area anyways? They did not "flash" or change colour. Yellowish white lights. Even when they were looping, and performing acrobatics that a normal "human" craft could not perform.
I realise that unmanned craft can do some wild looking stunts while teleoperated...but this was a bit out of that league! | |

In order to become certified you must take a test that proves to the organization that you fully know the difference between IFO and UFO'S.
You are taught how to properly investigate every side of a sighting, whether it be shedding good light or bad light.... realist, pessimist or optimist.
They mainly want to see they can trust you're knowledge and if you know modern licensed Military craft so you don't assume every light in the sky is indeed a genuine UFO-ET based sighting.
The group's agenda is to help find answers for those who report sightings, abductions and any other encounter with some other entity.
We also want to raise public awareness on the subject and let people that it's okay to share what you've seen because.... we've seen it too!!

The two personal UFOS I witnessed where close to 5 years ago now.
I was shopping in a mall near the Pittsburgh International Airport and I was in the parking lot. I look up and you see a bunch of various traffic in the sky, Jetliners, Medicopters so that was fairly normal. Then I saw a huge "Planet-Like" object was glowing a brilliant Amber color. The object looked like a oversized star that was burning orange-ish brown. So I stare at this object for a few minutes then all of a sudden it moves rapidly across the eastern sky after sitting stationary for so long.
When the object went from stationary to moving at very high speeds, It changed to a brilliant green color and "Shape Shifted" into two smaller objects before totally cloaking (going invisible).
Can I explain this? Not quite but I can provide similiar cases because there were numerous reports of similiar sightings shortly thereafter. | |

Personally, I have never seen a UFO, although a friend of mine swears she seen one. She said she seen something large with lights flying over her house, she says it was flying too low to be an airplane/jet but it was dark and she could not make out what it was. | |

Can't say for sure. Being that I'm legally blind, I've seen lots of lights in the sky, but I can't say what they were.

Posted: 6/30/2009 12:07:55 PM | No I said that there were Jetliners coming in to the airport so the Jetliners were actually giving pretty good contrast to the object I saw.
The object I saw was like if you were watching a huge planet.... which looks like a giant over sized star.... And then you're watching this over sized star and it suddenly moves very fast from a stationary position and changes it's color and shifts into two smaller objects.
Like I said, the sky is always busy up around the airport and mall.
If you're briefed on how the lights on a helicopter look and how a commercial jetliner look, you're able to tell the difference.
Plus the Jets that come in are decreasing speed due to the fact they are arriving and not departing. | |

They send out false information and try to make aliens and ufos seem like a big joke so the general public don't know what to believe.
But if you look hard enough, you'll find what you're looking for. The information is out there.
From a supposedly true story about President JFK:
President Kennedy met with a captain of an alien race that wanted to greet him in the desert. President Kennedy felt enlightened and was actually trying to encourage the CIA and other branches to release information on these more developed alien beings.
There's an idea that he was killed to keep from talking.
And if you look deeper on this, You'll find that theres a conspiracy relating back to Marilyn Monroe's relationship to JFK.
When she dated him, she was told information not only about JFKS plan to kill off Fidel Castro, but his meet and greet with aliens and other information that was classified TOP SECRET. After the breakup she publicly claimed she was going to hold a press conference and leak this information. Shortly thereafter she died. Now why would she kill herself when she was the top of her career....on the rise after dating the president.
Very fishy if you ask me and it's worth investigating. | |

Then a few a years ago I was in a used book store and picked up a book called "the hollow earth" (the paper back edition) and there on the inside of the covers were old black and white photes of the "ufo" I saw, and the lable read something like - taken over New York and New Jersey in 1963. Posted: 6/30/2009 4:11:16 PM | I believe 99.99% of UFO sightings are pure BS from attention seekers or they are observations of otherwise normal objects by people who have no idea what they are looking at.
It is foolish however to think we are the only intelligent life in this universe. I think any reasonable plug ins to the Drake Equation show that there are thousands of planets where intelligent life will form. There are over 200 billion stars in the Milky Way and that is one galaxy of over 100 billion observable galaxies. Do the math and estimate how many star systems there are. Even low probability numbers plugged into the Drake Equation will give tens of thousands of planets with intelligent life.
Is there a government cover up? Yes, but not the one everyone thinks about. The government's initial clams of the Roswell crash being a UFO were planted to cover a project where balloons were sent up to monitor possible Soviet A-bomb tests. Even most UFO enthusiasts concede that the object that crashed was a part of Project Mogul.
As for the comments on reverse engineering. That is pretty laughable. It is very difficult to reverse engineer objects for which you already have the materials and technology to build. Look at the difficulties of the Tupelov Tu-4, which was a Soviet built B-29 reverse engineered from aircraft that made emergency landings in the USSR during WWII. If a UFO were to crash, reverse engineering its technology would be impossible as we would not have the materials engineering skills necessary for a project. | |

You are right about certain people making statements on seeing UFOS.
But that is why we have our Field Investigators... That's our job.... If the person has a strong enough case and evidence to support the given sighting, We'll send out paperwork... We get the background of the witness and judge based on evidence and age and/or position in life.
Let me tell you this... When you have 100 people across 5 different states see the same UFO.. You cannot just make that bold statement "Crazy People Seeking Attention".
Just doesnt work unless you've proven them to be non credible. | |

They probably mettle in our affairs all the time and we don't realize it. Think of how possible it is that there are loads of other kinds of energies we haven't even been able to imagine- energies that other civilizations across the Universe might well have harnessed long ago. | |
