Lets show our Colors and Salute our Troops!! Decorate yourselves in Red White and Blue!!!
There will be a $2.00 cover at the door for Sidelines to cover the DJ. Which will be our own "Cantonguy" being as Jim had a prior commitment.
Active Military get in free
Whether you've never been to or are one of our regular Party Animals don't be afraid to come in alone ....you'll be greeted downstairs at the sign in table by one of our regulars that help us greet you all.
Remember there's only 1 rule at Sidelines "If you are asked to slow dance, you can't say NO!"
Sideline's has great food upstairs and we'll be in the party room downstairs that is all ours for the night. Fletcher & Dave (the owners) are great! The room is reserved for just us so we control the music that is played, the activities that help make it easier to meet people, and the safe environment to meet at.

Directions to Sidelines: take Rt. 71 North or South to the Brunswick Rt. 303 Exit. Take Rt. 303 west to Rt. 42/Pearl Road. Take Rt. 42/Pearl Road North and Sideline's is on the right just past the RBI's Batting Cages. Extra Parking at the Batting Cages and across the street.

I'm not sure why but it was probably because it was considered a charity event (which it wasn't) Sidelines is collecting the items for the soldiers. It could be that someone complained I don't know, but we have to start from scratch with sign ups I guess. I wrote to the event moderator. Hopefully I'll find out what happened.
One last reminder:
When you post, post about the party.
Do not use it for a chat room
Do not use a million emoticons
Do not write about other parties

My sideline's event was deleted. I have done parties for years. Can You tell me why? WE were not doing a charity. The bar we meet at is collecting items for the soldiers over seas.
Sidelines can send the packages through the Red Cross who will pay for them
I don't have a clue why it was deleted except that maybe you thought it was a fundraiser?
Here's what I received back:
That's a charity. Wont be approved. DO NOT POST, you will be deleted and banned.
There's too much potential for scams with charity related events. NO EXCEPTIONS
 
So we can support our troops and sign a Thank You card BUT CANNOT COLLECT ITEMS TO SEND TO SOLDIERS! I guess they are considered a charity?
Don't write any thing bad about the moderator or even be mad. I guess it has to be that way because of scams people do.
It was a great idea and We thank you for being so excited about it.

I have been going through hours of tunes for my opportunity to DJ this Party.
If you have a song choice...let me know. I will try to add it into the mix. But, don't hold me to it!:)
I am planning on having some music trivia questions throughout the night. The prizes will be a drink from the bar on me. So, put on your thinking caps!:) HA!

I watched the flag pass by one day.
