I notice that when you look under the title of "who has viewed me" I see some of the same men pop up more than once--like they keep going back and looking--is that what is happening? If so, I am curious, are they expecting me to see this and initiate talk with them? This is confusing. I guess I am a little shy and I think, if there was no response, obviously theres no interest. But then they pop up again--and again? I just dont understand or may I dont understand how this works. Maybe someone out there can straighten me out!!

I do that alot when I am bored. I read profiles from women all over the country, it does not mean I want to move or travel 15 states to say hi.

The very top row just shows anyone who ever viewed you that logged on recently, even if they haven't viewed you since the day you made the account. The block of the rest of them are actually in order. So just ignore the top row.

Are you looking at the top row? As stated thats more random and could show the same person more than once even if they didnt view you again...

You don't understand how the feature works.

Go to thread search and type in "viewed me".......plenty of answers there.

Above the top row on that page it says

The following SINGLE ROW OF USERS, are users who viewed you at some point, and sorted by when they were last online.

Below that top row and this replying to everything from the 2'nd row down it says
All Users showing up below this line are sorted by when they last visited your profile.

Now read it twice. It really does make sense if you think about it. That top row may of looked once 3 years ago but just checked their email.

And NO dont contact someone that just viewed your profile. The thumbnails on here are very small. You click and often scream OMG ! And click on the page back as fast as ya can. One can just view 100 profiles browsing. Actually read a dozen. And maybe reply to just one or two.

Viewing means nothing.

Good Luck

Sometimes I forget that I have already viewed a particular profile especially if I haven't seen it in a while or the profile pic has changed so I wind up viewing profiles I wasn't interested in several times.

There is no need to straighten you out since you already know and are quite happy doing what you’ve been doing… torture yourself by taking a look to see who has viewed you then hide behind your shy nature by NOT contacting them first.

While on this site, to get the maximum amount of enjoyment, you can play it safe by staying in your comfort place under your sea shell or, you can think to try something you’re not accustomed to!

I don't think that is what is happening.

One of the bars shows people who viewed you at some point in time. It is very likely you will see a pic resurface.

I think they will reappear in the main part also. My impression is that a person who regularly views your profile will move closer to the top of the list. I am not sure, however, because I think the sorting strategy changes. Just read the description above section.

Regardless, there are many reasons why people re-visit profiles. I would take it as compliment (since they find something captivating about it), but not as a sign of intent.

Cowboy - keeping it real as always

Ya - helps if you seperate the top line from the huge block underneath...I see this one girl that I messaged way back when still pop up as the first....I know she hasn't looked at my profile....maybe if I changed my pic lol.

It is just another way to see who is online at the time that you open your inbox. They are men that veiwed you at some point. Not men that continue to re-visit your page. There is NO WAY to tell how many times someone looks at your page unless you ask them. Some men will volunteer that information in their initial contacts or correspondance.
All it means is that at one time they checked you out. I like the feature because if someone has signed on and I know them I can click on their pic and send them a quick message if I want. That's all it is good for, you maybe see someone you are already familiar with and you know they are online at the time. You can click "online" or you can look at your favorites list to find out the same thing... but this is a tool that is right in your inbox.
