| Is there a way to express interest in a profile without sounding like a slut?
Posted: 7/1/2009 12:14:04 PM | Ok guys, here's my challenge. I have the hormones of a 20 year old and want to be in a monogamous relationship. How can I make it clear that I am not typical of some women my age (I am still healthy, not a nympho) and yet NOT attract a bunch of guys who are only looking for sex?

Why?
Because to men, hormonal equals bytchy, emotional basketcases.
Now if you are referring to an increased sexual desire?
Then you ARE typical of most women your age.
There's no way around attracting men only looking for sex.
The trick, will be in attracting men your own age, that aren't looking for younger meat! | |

Something like "I have a pretty strong sex drive, so anyone interested in me will need to be able to keep up, but not until we're in a monogamous relationship. No one night stands, flings, or FWB". Of course you'll still get some sex offers (some guys won't be reading the profile no matter what you say), but it should make it clear enough to whoever cares enough to read it. | |

Funny thing about the age...I've had more responses from younger men. It's flattering, but if we can't have a conversation, things just won't go beyond that 1st cup of coffee. | |

What's "typical"? I am 52 and first off I don't need to advertize that I am a healthy sensuous woman, my pics prove it. Secondly, while I am not ashamed of my sexual desires I don't need every other man that reads my page to be aware of my sexual appetite, good, bad or indifferent. I want one man to acknowledge that in the proper time and place and after I get to know him. Your post is ridiculous and a very thinly veiled attempt to get attention here from the men.
Challenge?? really??? What do you think the men will be attracted to you for, to go bowling, go play Bingo? If you want monogomous post for LONG TERM.
If you have this need to project yourself as a some type of non typical, 20 year old f&cker , go for it and sort out the men as they approach you. Either this or send out your "glam shots" randomly and see who wants it.
I don't have men approach me just for "just sex" and of the thousands that have responded to my page I couldn't say more than a hand full were disrespectful ever... but I don't feel the need to create and ad to make myself look like a porn star either. Also, my woman says that it may benefit you to look for slightly younger men because many men your age have NO sex drive!

Did it ever occur to you that just because on the inside you do not feel like a dried up old hag........that on the outside you might look like a dried up old hag ? And that most everyday, normal thinking people will assume that if it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck....... it most likely is a duck.
Simply write something in a mature and classy way that you have a healthy sex drive when involved in a loving relationship with someone you deeply care about.
