Best thing i ever did was pluck up the courage with the aid of a bottle of wine  and ask him for a coffee, like you never been so happy.

Everyone has different time lines and some will say, they've been tryin for years, months etc....
What they gotta get too is you meant business here! 
Not everyone can be successful in 6 months, a year... it's all about the attitiude one takes and how they proceed!

Posted: 7/3/2009 7:54:37 AM | Hey, I'm the other half! And the last six months have been amazing! Thanks for all of the congrats. When I joined this site, I honestly didn't have many expectations, other than meeting some new people, and hopefully having a bit of fun along the way.
I first contacted Mr. P because of his somewhat well, provocative forum posts- I thought he had a great sense of humor. I loved his profile- yes, it's long, but it's also entertaining, positive, and provides a pretty accurate snapshot of his character, personality, and what he is looking for.
His pics are great too- that smile reeled me right in. Yes guys, an open, genuine smile in your pics is a real plus. I was always much more likely to click on happy-looking thumbnails. And not a single one looked like Brad Pitt, either. haha
Since he lived so far away, I really didn't even think we'd ever meet, but I think it was less than a month after our first contact that he made it happen. Our first date lasted a whole weekend, and it was unbelievable! Even though I thought I wasn't ready for a relationship, I quickly realized that I was definitely ready for one with him.
It was just so easy. This is the first and only time where I feel like we were both on the same page instantly, and I think that's when you know it's right. There's none of the guessing and game-playing and wondering how interested he/she really is. Everything just came so naturally.
I dropped everything to be with him, and it's the best decision I ever made. Life is wonderful!
