Help me please?

I may have some HUGE mistakes on making this thing, so I'd love some help if possible. I know I'm not perfect, so I'll need a bit of help to see what I can do to better it and myself. I value other peoples opinions and know that it usually takes more than once to fix something.

thanks!

There are a few things that can/should be deleted to make room for the Interests field you completely missed... oops!!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not too much I could say right now. Currently I'm working at Giant Eagle just trying to get by. Still stuck at home, but really wanting to get out. Delete this - really too negative for an opening.

Despite the setbacks, I'm still an Indians fan. It use to be all of baseball, but that went away, but I'm still around for The Tribe and know THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR lol! This would work as an opening. Light humour and talks about an interest right away.

I'm usually a pretty simple guy. I'd rather sit back and have a few drinks with friends or drive around with said friends. Although, if I didn't live here I'd probably have more to do. Can't complain though. The friends that I've made make up for almost anything else I'm missing. If anything, I love karaoke, and am always looking for not only new singers but a good place to go and sing. Delete this whole thing - put "Karaoke" in your Interests field.

I recently did a favorite movie list on spam, and wound up with over 100. It's huge! Movies can bring something special out of me, especially in theaters. I'd rather go to a place that still uses old-fashioned projectors than those digital ones for as long as I can. Nothing replaces the hum of a projector as it starts the film. I missed the glory days of film and I'm doing the best I can to get some sense of what it was like. Here is where you'd put your top 3 or 4 favourite movies, move up from waaaaaay down below

I usually find though that not too many people agree with everything I like, but that's not anything to decide a relationship over, I'm not THAT insane lol! (Don't judge me, out loud : P) [b[ Torn on this - love the 'don't judge me... out loud' line.. !!

If everything works out, I'm going to Lakeland in the fall to get started in a career in radio. Not sure just what that is yet, but I know for the most part it's what I want. Cool!

I listen to d*mn near everything. I've been told on countless occasions "You know this song too? Do you ,like, know every song ever?" I don't need 24 of all gangsta rap but if there's one that I like enough I'll play that. I don't discriminate. Over the years going from random pop-music then realizing that I'd rather be a rocker, then switch to Country, then d*mn near any Punk, to even putting in Al Jolson when I'm in THAT mood, and now it's all come together. My Zune would be pretty mixed, if I had one. Why not throw out a challenge to your viewer to find a song you DON'T know? Stump the dude, win a date! or a cookie! or whatever!!!

I've found my self song writing oddly enough. Not full on music though, just lyrics. Not expecting to do much with it but it's an awesome release that has caused me to find out more about my self than I thought. add 'Writing' and 'Lyrics' in your Interests field, delete this paragraph because you talk about it again in your "Soul Man" paragraph.

I've been told I'm a good listener, so that's something to think about. I've gotten good at getting lost while driving, then finding my way back in 5 minutes. I do it for fun sometimes so I can develop a better sense of direction. Overall I've gotten better at just making people just feel better about them selves, at least a bit. umm... question? What does getting lost have to do with making people feel better about themselves? Two completely separate ideas in the same paragraph don't flow well.

And when I was doing sales 2 years ago, I not only loved doing it, but I was REALLY good at it! If you're not doing sales now, this is irrelevant. Or - you can turn it around and say "My work allows me to interact with customers all day - it's great to have that relationship with the regulars and I'm really good at reading people.

I'm usually quiet. Not the same as shy though. If you start talking to me I'll talk back, I just like to talk when it's needed. I've come across one too many people who talk just to talk. I know what I WANT to happen in my life, but I've learned that nothing is certain and I've taken a bit of a laid-back approach to life and let things happen. Doesn't mean I'm lazy though. I've always felt that people that 'let things happen' do so in order to avoid having to take resposibility for things. Jaded, maybe?

I haven't really read a "real" book since Senior Year, but that could easily change if I find the right book. I read The Godfather and realized that it's somehow a better story than the movie, which is near perfect! What I've been doing is finding new anime to read, and since I'm pretty new to the whole thing I've got a LOT to discover. After my first convention I realized it was something I really liked getting into! "Anime" into the Interests field....

If I need a list, lets see what I type: Little Miss Sunshine, The Shawshank Redemption, Battle Royale, Princess Mononoke, Falling Down, The Lion King, The Stupids, Network, Pulp Fiction, Boondock Saints, Dogma, Gaslight (1940), The Prestige, Momento this goes up in your other movie paragraph.

That'll do for now. then delete this.

Music has become another monster in the last year. I always enjoyed a good rock song for years, and enjoyed a little singing now and again, but 2008 was when doing a little "Soul Man" at a party got someone to contact me about actually singing for his band. The band didn't go anywhere, but it got me finding a few more lesser known bands, and it got me song writing, which I'm still doing despite not even thinking of it being performed for real.

I rarely really get into a band (like finding all the albums, including the EP's, and actually attending concerts) but recently I found The Gaslight Anthem, and I can easily say they've become my first real favorite in a LONG time. Put "The Gaslight Anthem" in your Interests field and delete this paragraph.

Food. As much as it may look, I don't eat tons. I look like it sure, but I'm good. I COULD eat a few pizzas a day if I wanted too, but I really don't. I enjoy cooking a meal for myself that isn't huge. I'm mostly Sicilian, so that dominates. I'll occasionally find myself in a Chinese place, but that's slowly getting replaced by sushi. Japanese food in America is much more healthy, and satisfying. Anything that isn't McDonald's most days and I'm happy! Again, a perfect place to be interactive with your viewer. "Have you ever tried {specific sushi/sashimi}? It's not as scary as it sounds!!" Put "sushi" in your Interests field.

Please feel free to use/ignore any or all of it as you see fit.

One more thing I've been wondering about.

Is it bad to mention that I've never really been in a relationship yet? I'm a LATE bloomer I guess and have little to no experience with this kinds of things. Is that a bad thing to put in my profile?
