| need some advice! Posted: 7/2/2009 4:25:32 PM | | Ok so I am very close to this person who has been through a lot in his life! He is extremely nice and caring just cant catch a break! He has recently been saving up money to start the custody battle to get custody of his little girl and is now facing being laid off! He lives with his family in order to support them & his father is about to get laid off as well! They both have been looking for jobs for a long time with no luck! I wish there was a way I could help them but I just dont have the means! Does anyone know of good websites or ways to find jobs, or organizations to help with bills or food! They really need some support & prayers & I would appreciate any help I can get for this family! | |

| need some advice! Posted: 7/2/2009 4:35:52 PM | Try your local church and food bank. Your local community resource office should have phone numbers of organizations that are available in your community.
As far as jobs, try craigslist. Is their a worksource website for your area?

Plus he'll be home before the sun goes down. On the other hand, if it rains a lot, he won't be working much.

google employment websites
best of luck to all of them
a local church will have an outreach center to ask for other resources
does he have any skills that he can list in an ad in the paper, i.e., website construction (something that I am looking for help with), etc. while he searches?
call the local State Bar to see if anyone will accept a pro bono case
