Posted: 7/2/2009 5:51:14 PM A recent study by a group of "experts" at LSU concluded that, in effect, Louisiana had just as well throw in the towel as far as coastal restoration via sedimentation from the Mississippi River. A main reason was the reliance of this bunch on IPCC predictions of a sea rise of 2.6 feet to 3.9 feet by 2100 (a mere 90 years away). I say the IPCC prediction is poppycock.
